Chapter 22: Date?

Travis's PoV

" Travis!" Garroth shouted

"Yeah," I said coming out my room

"You already dressed?" He asked

"Yup," I said

I was wearing some normal jeans, a plain white T-shirt and a green hoodie.

" well can you go ask Zane if he wants to come?" He asked

"Sure," I felt my face heat up

Garroth gave me a death stare before going back to his room.

I took a deep breath to calm myself down.

Then I made my way out the door and down the street, towards Zane's house.

I knocked on the door and he answered.

"Hey Zane!" I said

"What?" He asked, annoyed

"Well uh, we-"

"Who's we?" He asked

"Um m-me, Garroth, Laurence, Dante and Vylad?" I said sounding more like a question

"I don't see them," he said

"Wait let me finish," I said

He stayed quiet expecting me to carry on.

"Um we were wondering if you wanted to come get food with us?" I said

He thought for a moment, then said,

"Like a date?"

"I-I mean, it can be if you want it to b-be but I didn't-"

I was cut off by him laughing.

Then I noticed how red my face was, causing me to go redder.

"Fine," He sighed

" really!" I said

" yeah, but only if you watch 10 hours of my little horsies with me tomorrow and bring me cupcakes," he said

I felt a bright smile form on my face.

"DEAL!" I practically screamed, hugging him

"I'll pick you up in a bit!" I shouted while running off, back to my house

Dante's PoV

I texted Vylad about the... date?

D: hey Vylad

V: hey

D: I just wanted to ask if you wanna come with me, Garroth, Zane, Laurence and Travis, to get something to eat.

V: sure!

D: I'll pick you up later, k

V: ok, bye

D: bye. Love you

V: love you too

I smiled and put down my phone.

Time skip

Laurance's PoV

" Laurance cmon I'm hungry," I heard Dante shout, but didn't answer

I was looking in a mirror, continuously brushing through my hair, trying to make it look good.

I heard my door creek open, and footsteps heading my way.

"Laur, you ok?" Garroth asked me

"I'm fine I just..." I started, looking at him through the mirror

"worrying you don't look good?" He asked

I nodded, Garroth sighed.

"Laur, you look fine," he said, reassuringly

But I don't wanna look fine, I wanna look perfect.

" cmon, as long as you look good to me, no one else's opinion matters," he said, which made me smile

"Thanks," I said

He grabbed my hand and took me downstairs.

"About time," Dante said, opening the door

There wasn't enough room in the car for the six of us, so Dante took his own car and picked up Vylad, while I went in Garroth's car with him, Travis and Zane.

Zane's PoV

We arrived at the restaurant a few minutes later. I sighed.

"You ok?" Travis asked me

" I'm fine," I said

Garroth parked his car and we went inside.

We took a seat at a table, i sat in between Travis and Garroth.

We ordered our food and waited for it to come.

I felt a hand grab mine.

I looked over to see Travis, holding my hand, he looked really nervous and didn't look at me.

My face heated up.

Once our food came he let go, which kind of made me sad, but I didn't show it.

We were now back in Garroth's car on the way home.
