Chapter 9: do you love him?

Dante's PoV

"Hey Dante do you-" Travis started as he walked into my room

"Yeah?" I said wiping a stray tear

"A-are you okay?" He asked concerned

"Yeah," I lied, he could definitely tell

"Okay, do you know where Laurance and Garroth are?" He questioned

"I think in there rooms," I said

He nodded and walked out my room. I took a deep breath and cleared my thoughts. I decided to go on a walk to think about things.

I stood up and almost immediately fell back down, but I managed to keep my balance. Then I walked down stairs and out the door.

Garroth's PoV

G: did you like it?

I guess that's a no...he hates me, he'll never love me. What was I thinking, I know he's straight, he likes Aph.

Maybe I shouldn't go back, he'll be happier if I just disappeared for good.

I continued to sit next to the tree, crying as I thought.

Dante's PoV

I walked through the woods behind my house, trying to gather my thoughts.

Who could he like? Maybe...Aphmau?

I came to a stop when I heard muffled sobs in the distance. Carefully I followed them deeper into the woods...not the smartest idea, but I'm not the smartest person.

The sobs grew louder as I approached a certain tree, I took a deep breath and walked around to the other side to see.....

"Garroth?" I questioned

"What!" He said quickly looking up and wiping his eyes

"O-oh it's you," he said looking back down

I sat down next to him, leaning my back against the tree.

"Are you okay?" I asked

"Yeah...just-" he started but stopped after just

"Did something happen?" I asked

"I-I.....kissed Laurance" he said, wiping his eyes again

"What's wrong with that?" I questioned, knowing he's In love with Laurance

"H-he hates me now," he said, he was obviously hurt

"No he doesn't," I replied reassuringly

"Then, what's wrong with you?" He asked

"Huh" I replied

"You don't look so okay yourself," he said, turning his head to face me

"O-oh," I said

"So?" He carried on

"I-I..." I started

He sighed

"Do you really love my baby brother with all your heart?" He asked

"Y-yes," I replied hesitantly, blushing

He sighed again

"If I let you have him, do you promise to always love him and keep him safe and happy?" He questioned

"Of corse...but-" I started

"But what?" He asked curiously

"I-I think he likes someone else," I said, now looking at my feet

Garroth just shook his head and stood up, holding out his hand to help me up too.

" nonsense... he doesn't shut up about you," he replied, starting to slowly walk back towards the house

Maybe he's right, but he could always be wrong...ugh!

Garroth's PoV

Me and Dante walked back to our house. When I opened the door and walked in I was embraced in a tight hug. I looked down to see Laurance.

Dante smiled and walked to his room, leaving me and the brunette alone.

"Laurance?" I questioned

He started to cry uncontrollably. I hugged him back, his grip got tighter.

"I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you cry," I said

He looked up to meet my gaze, his eyes showed pain and sadness. I hugged him tighter. It broke my heart to see him like this.

Time skip

We were now sitting on the couch. His head rested on my shoulder as he gripped my shirt tight. His breathing now steady.

I looked down at him, to see him sleeping like a baby. I smiled to myself, he's so cute.

I picked him up and took him to his room, placing him gently on the bed. Before I left his room I placed a soft kiss on his forehead.

As I was about to walk away, I felt a hand drag me back. I turned back around, to see Laurance preventing me from leaving the room.

"Please don't go," he mumbled in his sleep

I smiled, getting into the bed with him. He snuggled up to my chest and drifted deeper into sleep.

After a few minutes of starring at the cute, sleeping brunette, I did the same.
