The omega flinched, hands and feet scraping on the rough concrete surface as he moved back. Trying to hide away in the dark.

He heard another ear piercing cry of a woman. His hands moved up to cup his ears. Not wanting to hear the helpless screams anymore.
He closed his eyes tightly, the scenes too gruesome for him.
But it was in the air, he could smell the fear, the smoke of burning houses and that, that bittersweet scent like cigarette butts and cinamon.
More tears fell down his eyes as the scent became stronger. He shook his head, one hand reaching to cover his mouth to prevent any sound.
A small creak sound of a bush cracking, he could hear the heavy steps. His leg injured and body too weak to move.
A big figure hovered above him before there were sharp nails clawing his wounded leg making him in howl in pain.
