Eun Woo's POV
"Appa!!"
I heard from the other line. It sounds like a kid. My eyebrows creased. I look at the screen of the phone to check again if it is really a call from Sana.
"Appa! Are you there?" the kid continued.
"Wookie, your dad must be busy." Now I heard Sana's voice and my eyes widened in disbelief.
"I miss Appa, Omma." the kid started to whine.
"Let's just call back tomorrow, okay?" she said and the call ended.
I put down the phone, staring in nowhere. Their words are echoing in my mind.
'Appa? Sana's son called Jungkook and he called him Appa?' I whispered.
'Isn't Jungkook the.. ?'.
'He can't be the father.'
I heard footsteps coming towards me.
"Eun Woo, Are you calling me?" he asked.
My gaze turns to him.
"Yes... Someone called on your phone." I said plainly and gave him his phone.
"Uh... Who is it?" he asked and reached for it.
I look at him straight to his eyes.
I was silent for a moment.
"Your son," I mumbled.
His eyebrows rose in shock. I know that look. That look whenever he was caught off guard.
He took a deep breath and faced me. He became serious suddenly.
"Why did you answer the call?" he said in a serious voice.
I stood up and took a few steps towards him.
"Tell me honestly Jungkook, are you the father of Sana's son?" I asked him while staring at him intently.

Jungkook's POV
Eun Woo and I are like on a staring game that no one wants to get lost.
"You want the truth? Okay...
It's true. I am the father." I said emotionless.
I can see his jaw tighten. But I remain unbothered.
He broke the eye contact and ran his palm on his face to his hair.
"I look stupid all this time. Why are you doing this? Why are you hiding this?" he growled.
"Look, Eun Woo. I'm so sorry about that. But I promised to Sana to hide this. I can't break my promise to her." I said to him.
He closed his eyes. And stared back at me. "How—How did it happen? I mean how come you have a child with her?" he asked while stammering.
"It just so happened that we are in the same place. I approached her because she was problematic at that time. We get well along together in a short period of time. We drank a little beer, I didn't know she has a low tolerance for alcohol. And something happened to us." I explained. He closed his eyes.
"You left her after you knew she was pregnant?" he asked while his eyes furrowed at me.
"No! She hid her pregnancy. She flew away to Switzerland. I didn't know she got pregnant after what happened to us.
You know me, Eun Woo, you know that I always take responsibility for my actions. If I knew back then, I will never let Sana face the problem on her own." I said to defend myself.
"That's why when I went to Switzerland, I saw them there. And I found out the truth." I added.
He looked down. He may be still processing all the things that I said. He exhaled.
"So what's your plan now? Are you not gonna tell this to your family?" he asked suddenly.
"I wanted to but as what I said earlier Sana asked me a favor to keep this as a secret," I said sadly.
"What about your fiance? You're getting married soon, Jungkook. Isn't it unfair for her?" he blurted.
"Yeah, I know that Eun Woo. I just don't know what to do now. I was torn between telling them the truth or hiding this to protect my son and keeping my promise to Sana. I don't know." I exclaimed. My eyes started to get moist.
I can see the sympathy in Eun Woo's eyes.
"Do you like Sana?" he asked out of the blue. I feel that my body froze when he asked that. I look down. I don't know what to answer. I am still unsure.
"She's just the mother of my son." that's what all I said.
He was silent. We were silent for a few minutes.
"I can take that responsibility if you will allow me," he muttered.
My forehead furrowed. "What do you mean?"
"I can help you, Jungkook-ah. You said you wanted to protect your son, so I can take that responsibility for you. No one will know this, so you can still keep your promise to Sana. And you can get married and be happy." he said.
I feel that my body feels weak when I hear those words.
"Knowing that you don't have any feelings for her. I can make my move. I'm really serious about her, Jungkook-ah. I will promise you I will take care of her and your son." he muttered.

Jungkook's POV
I was lying on my bed trying to sleep but I can't. I stood up and walked to the balcony. I stretch my neck. What a day!
First, I got to deal with the wedding preparation. Second, I didn't get a chance to meet my son. Third, Eun Woo found out about Wookie and lastly, what Eun Woo said to me earlier.
I raised my head and gaze into the night sky.
I didn't expect Eun Woo would say that.
"Is that how serious he is to Sana?" I mumble to myself and faked a smirk.
But why I feel so strange? This is driving me crazy.
