You were walking home one rainy day when you spotted a cardboard box that was under a bus stop. You walked close to it and it moved, making you flinch a bit. You open the box to see what looked like a person with. . .

"Eh?" It was this "girl" with rabbit ears and short, curly, pink hair. It was curled up into a ball. It looked at you. You smiled at the "girl".

"Hi there. What's a girl like you doing all by their self in the rain?"You asked. The "girl" 's eyes widened.

"G-Girl?! I'm not a girl!" The "girl" that you now knew was a boy exclaimed. You were dumbfounded.

"I'm sorry! How disrespectful of me to assume your gender!" You apologized. You saw the boy put on his hoodie. You figured that he was trying to hide his rabbit ears.

"I-It's okay! You don't need to hide them but, if your scared people will make fun of you, then okay. I can take you to my place if you want!" You said. The boy looked at you and smiled softly.

"I'll go with you! Thanks a bunch. By the way, I'm Naruse, nice to meet you. What's your name?" Naruse introduced himself.

"Ah, I'm (Y/N)-chan, nice to meet you! Anyways, let's go then?" You replied. Naruse nodded in response.

And so, you two started walking to your place.

"We're here." You said as you got your keys out from your bag. You unlocked the door and opened it.

"Pardon the intrusion.." Naruse said before walking inside. You both removed your shoes.

"Just stay here, okay? I'll get you a towel so, you can dry yourself up." You told the boy before walking to one of the rooms. Naruse sat down on the couch.

You walked out of the room, two towels in your hand. The pink haired noticed that you were back and smiled.

"Your back." He said. You smiled and handed him one towel. The other got it and started drying his hair.

"Well then, I'll cook us something. Is there anything specific you want?" You said before going to the kitchen. "Uh, anything's fine really." Naruse replied. You nodded in response and started cooking.

"Here you go." You said, smiling as you put two plates of food on the table. It was curry and rice. The pink haired looked at you and smiled. He walked to the table and sat down on one of the chairs.

"It looks delicious! Thanks for cooking us something." Naruse thanked you. You found this cute, plus the fact that he had rabbit ears ww.

"Your welcome." You replied. You sat down on one of the chairs. "Itadakimasu." You both said before eating your food. Naruse seemed to really enjoy the food you made. It made you happy.

"Uh, by the way.." You said. "Hmm?" Naruse turned to you. "Your ears...how did you get them..?" You asked. The pink haired blushed in embarrassment.

"I don't even know.." He said before looking away. "Don't be sad about it! In fact, it's cute, you know?" You said and smiled. Naruse blushed even harder.

"R-Really? Th-Thanks.." The pink haired replied. You two continued eating your food after that.

"Gochi sou sama deshita." Naruse said before standing up. He brought his plate to the kitchen.

"I'll wash the dishes for you. After all, you cooked for me." He suggested. "Oh, thanks!" You thanked him. He smiled softly and started washing his plate.

"By the way.."

"Thanks for today." Naruse said, smiling at you. You blushed a bit.

"Your welcome."
