okay, this one is a -situation-
so, implied cannibalism.
it's a possible mental illness
(like, it could be an actual thing, but I'm not sure because I literally -made it up-)
also murderso, if any of these things bother you, don't read it.
(if there is anything that is confusing, I would be glad to clear it up for you.)
-i also hadn't a clue what to title it, sooo, yeah-also!! thank you, The_City_Rain for the idea!!
I'm not sure that it came out the way you may have wanted it, but hopefully you still like it.the reason seemed ridiculous- to others maybe, but to pete and his possessive self, it was perfectly plausible. as he stares at the limp body lay before him. he walked back toward the window, creeping out in the same manner he crept in. he left the body there in its bed, pillow covering the face.
"bastard," pete muttered, walking back to his and patrick's apartment. "he shouldn't have hurt patrick." he spoke as though he was arguing with someone. but no one was there?
no, it was just pete, alone, talking to himself and the voice in his head.
~~~the walk was not long, and pete was back with patrick just in time for dinner.
"hey, baby," patrick smiled as pete walked through the door. "dinner's ready."
"ooh!" pete smiled, making his way to the kitchen as patrick made the table. "what are we having?"
"could be chicken." patrick smirked, placing two plates on the table before getting them each something to drink. "could be whatever you want it to be." he shrugged.
"ooh," pete laughed, taking a seat across from patrick. "could it be?"
"quite possibly,"
~~~"that was an exquisite dinner, honey." pete smiled, taking their dishes in the sink. "will we be having more soon?"
"I've got enough for at least a month." patrick chuckled, joining pete to wash the dishes. "of course, I won't be cooking this for every meal."
"well, I wouldn't mind having it again tomorrow, but maybe change it up after that."
"of course," patrick smiled, putting the dishes away as he dried them.
~~~"so, what were you out doing?" patrick asked, looking up at pete as the show went to commercial.
pete squeezed patrick gently, looking down at him. "I had something to take care of..." he said quietly, a small frown on his face.
"was it the guy who touched me...?"
pete sighed, nodding a little. "yeah..."
patrick nodded as well, kissing pete's cheek, patting his chest lightly. "it's alright, petey."
generally, murdering someone for touching your boyfriend inappropriately was not okay, but that's how pete's mind worked.
there were voices, they told him what to do. and usually when anyone came near or even tried to hurt patrick, they would tell him to hurt them in a much worse way- usually ending in murder or hospitalization- more often than not,the former than the latter.
patrick knew about that, and he had the same problem.
of course they felt bad for murdering people, but if they did not obey to the voices, they would end up hurting themselves instead. the voices, in a way, make them think that what happens to their partner is their fault- usually using the excuse that they were not there to protect the other.
"I love you so, so much, 'trick." pete whispers, kissing patrick's forehead.
"and I love you so, so much too, petey." patrick smiled, leaning up to kiss pete.
pete reciprocated the kiss, pulling away after a moment, smiling down at patrick.
they were not bad people, not by heart.
perhaps they thought they were helping by taking these rude, inconsiderate, disgusting people out of the world. protecting not only their own partners, but any others who may be targeted.
neither of them really knew why they had these problems, but were simply glad to have one another- after years of being with the wrong people who thought they were awful for "protecting" them, they found the other. that was good for them, but maybe not so much for some others.
