Leah's POV

It's been awhile since the kidnapper's have checked on me. "Maybe they left? Fuck, what am I going to do" I think to myself as I tug my arms but my wrist are zip tied to the arm rest. I tried kicking, but my legs are zip tied as well. "Shit" I mumble. The tape around my mouth making it hard to yell. "Ok Leah think, it's just zip ties right? I can bite them. Fuck the tape. Maybe I can reach it if I bend over far enough". I try to bend over as far as I could. I grunt, "Fuck, I should've done more yoga with V" I exhale loudly.

"I wish I could see, why the hell blindfold me and then put me in a dark room? And how the hell did they kidnap me from the airport, oh I am writing a strongly worded letter... wait...focus Leah. Escape first and complain later" I told myself.

"Ok what does daddy always tell me to do in this situation? Tell them you're the Police Commissioner's daughter" I roll my eyes, "that's not gonna help. Ok what else? Lick the tape, water will loosen the adhesion. Ok" I curl my lips and begin to lick, "ew! Suck it up Leah" I let the saliva accumulate in my mouth and push it out.

"Ok, that's gonna take forever, what else? FRICTION! friction breaks zipties. Ok, just focus on one hand. The right. No I'm right handed, lets do my left." I lift my wrist, moving it forward and back repeatedly. I feel my wrist begin to bruise but I keep going.

What's that noise? Sounds like 2 people wrestling. Boom! a gun shot, someone tumbles down the stairs and bumps against the door. My heart begins to beat faster. The door creeks open. I see light shinning from below the blindfold. I breath harder, tugging on the zipties.

They pull off my blindfold, I squint as my eyes adjust. They cut my hand free, and aim for the other. I take a good look at the man infront of me. Mando? I pull the tape off my mouth. "Gosh that hurts, it's not just a movie thing, peeling tape off hurts" I think to myself. Mando grabs my face, "Leah! Can you walk?" He whispers loudly. I nod my head. "Vamos" he says grabbing my hand pulling me to my feet.

We walk past a man at the foot of the steps, lying in a pool of blood. His gun. "Wait!" I tell Mando. "Leah we gotta go!" he insists. I pull my hand away, bend over and grab the handgun then search his body for an extra clip. I got it. "Let's go" I say moving up the stairs, towards the door. I stand on one side, he stands on the other, staring at me.

"What?!" I say agitated. "You know how to handle that?" he asks concerned. "I happen to be the Police Commissioner's daughter" I say proudly. "There you go daddy I said it" I thought to myself. "Shit..." he whispers to himself. "We gotta head towards the pool. My car's parked on the other side" he orders. I nod. "Let's go" he says confidently.

Mando steps into the room first, we walk across the theatre room, hugging the wall. I bump into him as he stops abruptly at the door. He places an arm infront of me and glances around the corner with his gun in his hand.

"Why is he so fine? Stop Leah it's not the time" I think to myself. Mando looks at me, "you ready?" He says. "Totally the time" I think. I place my hand on his cheek and kiss him, holding it for a few seconds. "Yes" I whisper. He licks his lips and smiles, like he was just told he's a super hero.

We walk down the hall past the dining room. Mando grabs a guy coming around the corner, throws him on the floor and pistol whips multiple times. 2 guys entering the kitchen spot us and draw their guns. I aim at one of the guys and pull the trigger, then shoot the other. Mando smiles at me proudly, grabs the gun from the unconcious gentleman, nods for us to continue.

Mando pokes his head out slightly glancing around the living room and foyer. "Fuck" he mumbles. I rest my back against his, aiming my gun towards a backdoor. "Mando we gotta go" I whisper as I see 3 men running towards the glass door. He glances back, "stay close" he says. He grabs my hand as we begin to run across the open living room, bullets fly around us. "Get down!" Oscar yells, stepping from behind the column, shooting at the guys on the staircase. We practically slide behind a wall, next to Oscar taking cover.
