"I'm sorry! Sorry, I'm late!" Y/N hollered as she exited the lift and crossed the floor to her office, bypassing her secretary, and unloading her belongings in her office. She stuck her head out the door, using a hand to keep her from falling over, "I left the house late and traffic was horrific." Her secretary, Lisa, waved her off with a flick of her hand, "Don't worry about it. Here," She got up from her desk, parcel in hand, and walked over to Y/N, "this arrived this morning for you."

With a confused expression, Y/N opened the package to find a box of Swiss chocolate; her favourite type. She knew immediately who it was from as there was only one person who knew how much she loved Swiss chocolate and he went by the name of Sebastian Vettel. A wide grin appeared on her face as she held the chocolates in her hands.

"Lucky you! Swiss chocolate? Lucky." Her secretary's voice was laced with slight envy but all in good nature.

"It's a pity gift." Y/N said slapping the box down on her desk, "He was meant to visit this weekend, but didn't."

"Pity gift or not, it's a sweet gesture – literally." Lisa said before walked back to her desk and resuming her work. Y/N did the same, logging into her computer and opening her emails. She exhausted a sigh as she eyed the shear amount of unopened emails in her inbox and got to work. Y/N opened email after email, categorising them into importance and responding to the most urgent ones. Checking her phone for the time, she saw it was nearly 11 o'clock.

"Someone's popular." Lisa remarked as she entered Y/N's office with a bouquet of flowers in hand. They were peonies – Y/N's favourite. "Sebastian must be thoroughly in the doghouse." She laughed. Lisa handed Y/N the flowers before exiting with a smile. A ghost of a smile appeared on Y/N's face at the thought of Sebastian pacing back and forth trying to figure out how to get back into her good books. Y/N stood up from her desk to find a vase of some sort for the flowers, however, she came up empty handed and settled on filling the sink with water and laying them in that.

"I swear, this is the last time I'll interrupt you again today." Lisa said entering Y/N's office once more. "You have a visitor." She said with a smile and opened the door wider so that Y/N could see who her visitor was. It shouldn't have surprised her that it was Sebastian, after all, she hadn't talked to him since last night and the silence was killing evidently killing him.

"Sebastian."

"Ooooh, full name?" Sebastian joked but dropped his smile when he saw the unamused expression on Y/N's face. "Ah, yes, hi?" He scratched his head, "I'm here to take you out for lunch."

"I'm fine. It's too early for lunch." Y/N said.

"It's nearly 12." Sebastian counter argued.

"I don't want lunch."

"You need lunch."

"I have so much work to do."

"Stop making excuses!" Sebastian rounded her desk and grabbed her hand, snatching it from where it seemed glued to the keyboard, and hauled her up to her feet. He walked her out of her office, "Let's go."

"Seb, I can't! I am up to my eyes in work!" She stomped her feet in the ground to resist any of his movement. Sebastian raised an eyebrow at her as her colleagues watched on in amusement. It wasn't the first time that they'd seen the Formula 1 driver at their office, grovelling at Y/N to go out to lunch with him. In one quick movement, Sebastian had wrapped his arm around her waist and had lifted her up into his arms, ignoring all her protests and carried her out to the lifts, bridal style.

"No objections now. I'll have you back in an hour."

"Sebastian Vettel!" Y/N screeched as he refused to set her down until the lift doors were closed. She slapped his chest and folded her arms in a huff.

"Aw, now don't huff." Sebastian said using a finger to stroke and poke at her face in amusement. Y/N snapped her head to look at him, but she couldn't fight the smile that threatened to appear on her face, "That's better now, isn't it?" He said when he spotted the smile and stepped closer to her, wrapping an arm around her shoulder to pull her into his chest.

"Shut up." She mumbled against his chest, pressing a light kiss to it.
