Nevaeh POV

When Triniti and Kacy left, Jay and I decided to sit on the couch and talk. It was a bit awkward because Kacy had the audacity to ask if he was my boyfriend, oh my goodness.

"Nevaeh. Nevaeh, Are you okay?"

"Huh, oh yeah. I'm fine. I was just thinking about what Kacy said."

"What, about if I was your boyfriend?"

I covered my face with my hands and blushed in embarrassment. "Please don't remind me."

"I'm sorry, I wasn't trying to embarrass you or anything, it's just, aren't we dating?"

"Well, I don't know. I like you a lot, and I know you like me too, not to mention, um. Anyways, I'm not ready for a relationship yet."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah, I just had a family secret revealed to me. A relationship is the last thing I need to make me feel better."

"I get it. But I'll be here if you need me."

"Of course."

After, Jay and I embraced each other for a while. It felt like I never wanted to let go of him, as if, I wanted to be like this forever.

A/N: I'm sorry this chapter is really short, but the next one is worth it :)
