"To comfort you." Ani Eric habang hinihimas ang likod ko. I was still boring my head on my bed pero hindi na ako umiiyak. "Isn't that what good boys do in fictional stories?"

"So are you saying Theo is a bad boy?" I asked him, lumingon ako sa kaniya.

"Why? isn't he?"

Kumunot naman ang noo ko. "Tell me Eric, bakit ganun si Theo?" I asked him. "Weren't you two used to be friends? You knew him for years. You said so."

Umiwas ng tingin si Eric sa akin. "Come on Eric."

"If I tell you will you still like him?"

"I like him no matter what will people say about him Eric." Ani ko kay Eric na napa-iling na lamang.

"Then there's no use telling." Ani Eric. "Come on, Tita is calling you for dinner." Aya nito sa akin atsaka tumayo na.

"Tell her I'm not hungry." Ani ko rito atsaka nahiga na lamang sa kwarto. Nabigla na lamang ako nang mahiga din ito sa tabi ko. He was still in his uniform and he just laid himself down facing me then he took a deep sigh.

"You know I haven't been here for years already. Good thing tita still recognises me." Ani Eric habang nakatingin sa kisame. "Ever since Theo became distant to me 'di na ako nagbother na kulitin siya, I respected his own privacy." He added.

"Ever since he lost his girlfriend. Everything to him became blur. Including me. He became distant and fearful."

Alam ko naman na he lost his girlfriend years ago. But I don't even know the reason and the full story. Inayos ko ang sarili ko at nahiga at nakinig kay Eric.

"Nah, I don't want to tell you about it. After all I don't want you to be hurt." Ani Eric sa akin at tumingin ito sa mga mata ko. There's something that he doesn't want me to know. "It's better kung manggaling kay Theo ang kwento mismo." He added.

"He's been sending me mixed signals." I let out a deep sigh as I look at the ceiling. Napahawak na lamang ako ng mukha ko. "And I'm such a fool because I love him. I really like him." I added.

Tahimik lang na nakinig si Eric sa akin. Sinandal nito ang kaniyang ulo sa kaliwang kamay nito. Suddenly I heard the door open.

"Dani, Mom's been calling you." Ani Theo.

He just went inside as if he wasn't aware that he yelled at me just recently. "And what are you two doing?" Tanong nito sa aming dalawa. "And why are you here Eric?" He asked.

"Why? Can't I visit my old friend?" Tanong ni Eric sa kaniya. Napa-iling na lamang si Theo. I didn't dare look at Theo, but he went closer to me para ipatayo ako.

Sometimes whenever I'm with this guy. It feels like I don't have a full control of myself. Siya mismo ang gumagalaw para sa akin and I became so attached to him. After all he was the only one I could run to.
