chapter - 1: welcome to the photography club

"That is so weird."

"I can't believe he actually did that. What is he? High?"

For a class president like Lia who is utmost new in her job, pranksters like Jisung were out of her reach. There was no use detaining the boy or warning him. A restrain chain on him would do but that is illegal unless you complain to the police. And would the police give a restraining order on a 18 year old high school prankster? The chances were zero like her actually walking to the police station.

"Well lia, good luck with him."

That's what they all say. Lia typically rolls her eyes. Not one bothered to help her against the Han Jisung but convey their wishes. Useless if you tell me and Lia needn't hear them anymore.

"Jisung, if you're not gonna take the cake down i will have no choice but to inform Mrs. Myser."

Mrs. Myser is the head dean. A scary woman and Jisung's lifelong woman as his friends would call it. Jisung hates Mrs. Myser due to two reasons, his friends tease him with her and two, Mrs. Myser is an ugly old fat woman who likes to suck her fingers.

"What? It's just a cake. No big deal." sings the culprit.

"It is a big deal. Now take it off!"

These days Lia's been losing her temper quite easily. Ever since she's became the class president.

"I freaking hate this job!"

Jisung took the cake down from the ginko tree and Lia headed to class, more like storms to class. Lia hadn't a best friend, no one in Ace Academy does. If you suddenly have a best friend that means you've found yourself a nemeses. That's how friendship works around here, competition. Just the type anxious homophobic parents look for.

Lia buries her head on her desk, waiting for the homeroom teacher to make an entrance in ten minutes. Their homeroom teacher is a sloth no offense. The girl at the very back of the middle row was named Lee Chaeryeong and she is considered the smartest girl in class because she's the only one who raises her hand at algebra class. Chaeryeong was pretty, nice skin, but she was timid and an onlooker. So basically her reputation as the smart girl is the only thing that keeps her going.

"Chaeryeong-ah, have you decided on a club?" a girl asked.

Since they're in second year before senior it's only normal to join a club for extra points in activity club. They wouldn't have time in senior year so this was the perfect time.

"Not really."

Unfortunately, Chaeryeong forgot such a thing exists. Probably too caught up on trigonometry and whatnot.

"Let me know if you've given a thought, hmm?"

The girl patted her shoulder and return back to her seat. Chaeryeong shrugged it off. She's just one of those suckups who pretends to be some angel but are in fact leeches ready to betray you and push you any moment. Chaeryeong knows all too well about them so she doesn't really care.

'But what club should i choose? Definitely not where she is.'

For now, it remains a question she brushed aside.
On the other hand, the school's basketball team seems to be doing pretty good. captain Bang Chan is in the senior year but an effective role model to the juniors and newbies. Everyone likes bang chan including Yeonjun.
