Chapter 38

Luz POV

I waited for Owlbert to comeback.when he did he had a small letter on his talon. The letter had a small doodle of me and Amity holding hands. It was cute. I carefully place the drawing next to the frame picture of me and my mom. I give Owlbert a small pet as a thank you before settling in for bed. I slowly let sleep over take me.

~next morning~

The sun is shining and I feel as if it will be an amazing day. I prepare for the day and rush downstairs with a skip in my step. King gave me a confused looks as to why I'm so happy in this fine morning.

"Good morning!" I say as I grab a piece of toast. "I'll see you guys soon." I hear a small 'don't blow anything up without me' from Eda as I close the door. I walk all the way to Hexside beaming at everything.

Once I got to my locker I got the necessary stuff for my classes and made my way to my first class. I noticed Amity hasn't come in yet and begin to worry. The teachers haven't gotten here yet either.

"Guys there's a fight in the hall way!" A kid I think his name was Justin. Everyone quickly stood up and dashed to where the fight was going on. Willow was there with a worried look.

"Willow what's the matter? Who's fighting?" I ask as I tried to look for Amity in the crowd but couldn't see her. Willow pointed to the two people fighting. It was Amity and Amber who where fighting. Amity and Amber.

"We have to stop the fight." I say pushing past the people trying to get to the girl of my dreams. Amity has ducked under Ambers fist and had kicked her in the side. Amber fell forward when she got up she looked livid. She lunges at Amity who simply grabs her wrists and Jodi flips her. Amber growls as she gets up from the floor and throws a punch at Amity. Amity blocked the punch before punching her in the stomach. Amber lunges at Amity and successfully pins her to the ground. She starts repeatedly swinging at her.

"Amber!" I shout gaining everyone's attention except the person who I was trying to gain there attention. Just when I was going to go and help Amity flipped them over and pinned Amber down with her hands pinned to her back.

"Calm the hex down Amber!" Amity growls. Amber tried to get Amity off of her but Amity makes sure she can't. I walk over to them and pull Amity off of Amber. I help Amber off the floor before standing protectively in front of Amity.

"Why were you guys fighting?" I ask making sure Amber doesn't do anything stupid. She crosses her arms over her chest looking away refusing to answer me. I hear a small growl coming from Amity.

I was able to finally get a better look at Amity she had a dark purple bruise forming on her cheek bone. A small scar on her eye brow and her cloths looked a little messed up.

"Oh it looks like you forgot what you did! Why don't I remind you!" Amity says lunging at the pink haired girl. I catch her and pull her into a hug trying my very best to keep her from getting in trouble. I lean my head on her shoulder causing her to stop trying to get out of the hug.

"What did she do?" I whisper she looked at the ground not wanting to say anything. She looked at me over her shoulder and pointed to something on the floor. There was a book in said back with a familiar book cover. Amity's diary. I slowly let go of her. I walk towards the bag and pulls out the familiar book.

"You read her diary?" I ask Amber who looked as if she didn't do it. I take a better look at the diary to see that it was drawn on with a red marker. I walk towards Amity and hand her the dairy. She looked at it with a sad expression painted on her face.

"It had my plans for our date?" She says quietly holding the diary close to her. I pull her into a hug trying to comfort her. I lean down and whisper," try to figure out how far she had read into it." She nod and looks through her diary she stopped in a page.

"She only got to 1 month ago from now." She showed me her diary which now had small doodles and mean words written in it. I turn to look at Amber to see that she was in a stiff position with Lilith behind her one hand on her shoulder. The other students started dispersed.

"What's going on here ladies?" Lily says motioning for me and Amity to come closer. We slowly make our way over there my hand intertwined with Amity's. Amity wasn't even looking at Lilith she was just looking at the ground.

"Um me and Amber had gotten into a fight against each other." Amity stated still looking at the ground. Lilith looked at the both of them,"And why where you to engaged in a physical fight?" Amity gave her the diary. Lily studied it a little included the pages which were written. Her eyes went wide as she looked at the page. She handed it back to Amity.

"She read Amity's diary. She also drew and wrote in it." I murmur gaining Lily's attention. She gently placed her a hand on me and Amity's shoulder before turning us in the direction of her office.

"You 2 wait in my office while I escort Miss.Amber to principal Bump's office." Lily states. She begins to leave with an expressionless face. I begin to lead Amity towards Lily's office.

Once there we both sit down careful not to mess up anything. Amity leans her head on my shoulder playing with my hand. She was mainly silent during our wait. Lily walks through the door and sits in her chair.

"Please hand me the diary." She asks extending her hand towards Amity. She reluctantly places the diary in her teacher's hands. Lily drew a spell circle and the red marker slowly disappeared. She handed it back to Amity. She looked through the pages a little surprised with the fact that the red marker was gone.

"Thank you Ms. Clawthorne. I guess we should be on our way to class huh?" Amity says getting ready to leave. I draw a small ice glyph and place the ice on Amity's dark bruise. She sent me a small smile.

"You may go to class remember Amity we have training later. Also tomorrow you must meet me at my house for your punishment." Lily informs us. We both give her a nod and head out of her office.  I noticed how we still had our hands intertwined. I love The feeling of her hand in mine. Her hand's we warm but cold at the same time they were really soft.

"Luz are you okay?" Amity asks once we arrive at the end of the corridor. I feel my face flush at the warm and concerned look Amity had given me. I rub the back of my neck,"yes I was j-just thinking how did Amber get her hands on your diary." Amity thought about it for a moment.

"It went missing yesterday after we helped Eda at the stand and she had it in her hands today. I had my bag with me when we delivered the packages. James!" Amity said out of nowhere,"James knocked into us and was able to take it out of my bag. He must have given it to Amber." I try to connect the dots let's just say it took me a little longer than it did for Amity.

"Ok so he didn't just flirt with my girlfriend he also stole something important for her. Ugh when I get my hands on him I'll-" Amity cuts me off by placing a finger to my lips shushing me. She had a gentle smile on her face. She moved her hand from my lips to creases my cheek.

"Thank you but please don't do that. I don't want you to get into trouble" she places a kiss on my nose. I feel a small smile grow on my face. I couldn't help but to stare at her beautiful golden eyes. I love her. Everything about her. Her eyes. Her hair. Her personality. Absolutely Everything about her. I couldn't help but to press my lips against her's in a short but blissful kiss.

"I can't make any promise but I'll try." I whisper after I pull away. She pulls me into another kiss equally as short but with little more passion. She pulls away and ruffles my hair a little bit.

"Let's get going before we get detention." She whispers as she walks away leaving me there in a slight daze. She looks over her shoulder and flips her hair. I feel myself flush. I quickly dash over to her side and gently taking her hand in mine. I look everywhere but at her and with that we made our way to class.
