I sighed getting out of bed I looked around and found my phone which read May 12 2012 well isn't that just wonderful today my bloody 20th birthday and I don't have any family to celebrate with this is complete ass seriously I walked downstairs to the kitchen and sighed me and my brother Inherited our family home after our parents died same with all of their things this house just lacks a certain light in it ever since their car crash 4 years ago
Flash back to 4 years ago
There was a knock on the front door late at night I ran up to go open it but Andy beat me to it he didn't notice that I was behind him so I hid in the kitchen to listen to whatever the people at the door were saying

Hello I'm officer Dominguez and this is officer Smith we regretfully tell you that both of you're parents died tonight they tried to move out of the way of an incoming truck but when they swerved they landed in the river and drowned we're so sorry

Andy thanked them for letting us know and closed the door I fell to the floor and started crying I felt arms wrap around me

shhh Ava it's gonna be okay I promise we won't be separated I won't let that happen okay we can see if aunt Helen can come stay here and be our guardian until we're both 18 okay I nodded my head but I was far from being 18 I was only 16 I just turned 16 a few months ago and your gonna be 18 in a few weeks

I wiped my face and sighed again that was four years ago it wasn't long before Andy's  band got popular and he set off on a tour of the world he's been gone for three years and it sucks he left me all alone with aunt Helen who can be a complete bitch sometimes I'm serious all she does is bitch I was so happy when I finally turned 18 and could finally kick her out that day was one of the best days of my life
Flash back to my 18 birthday
I walked into the house around 1 am trying to be quite because I was still a little drunk I quietly shut and locked the front door and was about to sneak upstairs to my room when I got stopped by the wicked witch of the west.

Where have you been young lady it's 1:03 in the morning and your sneaking up to your room like it's  nothing .

I rolled my eyes at her and said it was my birthday yesterday and I went out to celebrate because I'm finally 18 and I can get rid of your sorry ass once and for all I don't need you anymore so just pack your shit and get out of my house now .

she smirked at me until I pulled out the deed and property papers to this house that we're now in my name I gave her a smile now do you wanna say that it's not my house again you bitch see I went to the hall of records and had them switch everything into my name since I'm a legal adult now so you have no hold on this house or me anymore now leave

she still wouldn't move I got tired of her games and called the police they should be here any minute there was a knock on the door and I pulled it open to see the same police officers that told us about my parents they smiled We got a call for trespassing oh yes right this way they followed me to my aunt who was still in the same spot

Ma"am this women has a deed and everything else to this house in her name if she doesn't want you here you have to leave the longer you stay the longer we hold you in a cell for trespassing.

my aunt sighed and packed all of her shit once she was out and in the cop car I smiled at the police officers.

see you later after I locked the front door and made sure all the lights were off in my house I made my way upstairs I found myself at a familiar door and opened it misfits ,  Avenged sevenfold,  Marilyn Manson posters covered the wall I walked in more and laid down on the Batman bed spread I miss you so much Andy when are you coming home I passed out on my brother bed in a dreamless sleep
