Emma's Pov

Grace Field Farm

I thought we could grow up, become adults, and go see the outside world, the world beyond the gates. See lots of animals, venture through the cities, wear different kinds of clothing, and have fun with my family. Maybe I could even ride a giraffe!

But.....

That day changed everything.

The day me and Norman tried to bring little bunny to Connie.

Made us change our mindset of this world.

Mama is an enemy.

We're being shipped out.

We're being eaten by demons.

No "other" family is waiting for us.

Me, Ray, and Norman are premium quality meat.

They want our brains.

We need to escape.

Escape with everyone!

We'll do it for sure!

Right now, I'm at the library with Phil, we've just arrived and we're looking for William Minerva's books because he said that he found something interesting in it. So we're here right now.

I found one of the books and gave it to Phil, however, he said it wasn't the right one because he said and I quote "It just have a circle with an owl Emma! Not that one!"

I was about to put it back to its place when a certain fictional book caught my interest.

Attack on Titan

That was the name of the book, giving it a quick scan it was about this huge things called Titans, it looks like humans but...different? Yeah something like that. Not just Titans though, but there are these humans that fly around and kill the titans. Especially the group called "The Survey Corps" or was it "Scouting Regiment." Maybe both? I'll read this later, so I put William Minerva's book back to its place and the book called "Attack on Titan" on the table.

I'll read it after I help Phil with this, I just wish I won't forget about it.

Eren's Pov

It was just a normal day in the survey corps HQ. Well, if you call daily arguing with a horseface idiot normal then it is.

Right now we're in the mess hall at our usual seats, Armin to my left and Mikasa to my right. Me and Armin didn't really notice that lunch time was ending, yet, Armin told me something, that he didn't actually finish, that is kinda interesting and not actually real, I think.

"Hey Eren, do you know the place called The Demon World?"

The Demon world? Judging by its name, might be a place full of demons.

"Hm? No, no I don't."

"My grandpa told me some stories about it, he said it has intelligent and non-intelligent demons feeding on humans for their-"

Armin was about to explain some more but he was interupted by Mikasa reminding us that lunch was over.

"Eren, Armin, its time to train."

"Sorry Armin, let's talk about it later."

"Alright."

And with that, we begun to leave the mess hall, I began thinking about what he said though.
Demons feeding on humans? To think that the place has humans even though it literally is called "The Demon World."

And what were they feeding on humans for? It'd make sense if it was for survival, but what part of our body would be good for them? I'd better stop thinking to deeply about it, it probably is just a made up story, Armin said it came from his grandpa, maybe it's a story used to scare children. Alright enough of that, I need to focus on training. Speaking of Training....

"Oi Eren, Jeager, Eren Jeager, Suicidal Bastard."

Right. Horseface is my partner for combat training today.

"What now Horseface?"

"You've been standing there staring off to space for 5 min, and stop calling me horseface I don't look like a horse!"

Ignoring his comment of "not looking like a horse", which isn't true because he legit looks like a horse in my eyes.

"Come on lets just get training over with."
