You sat on the bench, alone. It felt as if it had been more than 2 hours but peering down at your watch it was exactly 4:44. " Just ten more minutes. " You mumbled, crossing your legs. You couldn't help but overthink with all of this time you had to yourself.

Victoria was beautiful and if she was genuinely interested in Elios she would surely have a better chance with him than you.

" You don't compete where you don't compare. " A snarky quote James had always told you.

You knew you couldn't be mooning, lovesick over some guy you would be sharing a college dorm with for who knows how long.

You gritted your teeth. Why did Victoria have to choose him out of all boys she could go for?
You grimaced before fixing your expression, you couldn't let Elios walk back and see you looking like you had a stick up your ass or something. You assumed he'd probably feel uncomfortable with the fact a girl he'd just met was basically gushing over him.

Elios was in the car, driving back to the college. Elios did not attend that college at all. It was merely a chance to get closer to you and get to know you a bit better.

The schedule was from last year. Luckily for Elios, you were too dumb to check the date and even if you did Elios always had an ace up his sleeve.

Once arrived at the college he stepped out of his car, shutting the car door behind him and walked into the college. He had to make it seem as though he was exiting from inside of the building. He was intent on not raising any suspicions.

While you were sitting patiently for him at the bench, overthinking. You were waiting exactly 2 hours for him who wasn't even attending the college at all. It was far too easy for him to get in without being questioned by any staffs. He had attended this college before.

He made sure to get on all of the teachers and staffs good side. They truly trusted him and wouldn't ask why he was lingering around. They most likely thought he was just visiting or saying hello to a teacher or something, he'd do that often.

Although, Elios was having a bit of self conflict himself. He knew he was only replaying his story with you. He felt as though it would end the same painful way as it did for Emma and him. You would find someone new and he would have to make sure nobody would ever have you but himself.

It always goes the same way.

This time, he was determined to change the course of events. You weren't going to get a chance to bat an eye at another man. Elios was going to be sure of that.

He had got you a little something. A Rilukkumma teddy bear. He was upset he had to keep you waiting when he could be there with you and you could be with him, forever. But he knew he had to take the precautions when trying to be with you.

He was walking through the hallways and reached the exit. He hurried through and scanned the terrain. It was hard to miss you sitting, looking rather gloomly with your head held down. He approached and you lifted your head, a small smile forming on your lips.

" Hey. " You greeted, eyes instantly traveling to the adorable teddy bear in his arms.

" Hi, sorry i kept you waiting, (Y/N). " He held out the teddy bear. " Is it for me? " You inquired, lifting a brow. He nodded. " Take it as an apology. " Elios told you. You noticed he wasn't wearing his glasses this time around.

You felt the urge to ask why he had took them off but brushed it off. He probably just took them off to do it. " Thanks, but you don't need to apologize. " You said gently. " You also waited for me for more than two hours. You didn't tell me you didn't take any classes in the morning. You made sure i didn't worry about you being lonely while i was in my classes. " You spoke with gratitude. Now that you thought about it. Elios was a good friend.

An amazing one even.

He smiled. " Of course, i wouldn't want you to be worrying about me, (Y/N) You need to focus on your work. " He shrugged, sitting down beside you.

" I couldn't help but notice how gloomy you looked before i came over. " He pointed out. " Mind telling me what that was about? " He asked, tipping his head.

You froze for a split second. Your hand tightening around the soft bear in anticipation.

You shook your head and managed a cheerful smile. " Don't worry about it. "

" It's nothing. "
