Her phone rings. She does not expect the caller ID to be who it is.
"Hey," She says. Even she's shocked by how happy she sounds. He does have that effect on her.
"I'm watching you on TV. I just wanted to wish you good luck. I know you'll kill it."
"Really?"
"Of course. When have you not?" She laughs. This is just what she needed.
"I am pretty awesome, aren't I? How are you?"
"I'm good. I miss you, obviously, but I seem to be doing well here."
"The company is lucky to have to you. I miss you too."
"I didn't even know the Next Step were competing at Dancemania. What about Nationals?"
"B-troupe have nationals."
"B-troupe?"
"They're actually pretty good."
"I suppose we were in B-troupe."
"We were pretty good in J-troupe." She feels elated.
"Yeah!" He replies. He's so glad he called.
"This is just what I needed. Thanks, Noah."
"No problem, Richelle."
