the sun seemed to have already set and the sky was pitch black now. beomgyu had only his flashlight to help him see. he was scared as hell but, he found himself inside of one of the bedrooms. the ravenette was also growing worried about the whereabouts of the fiery red haired male. they both still haven't found each other.
for some reason all of the drawers were opened except for the one next to the gigantic bed which made him curious, so he pulled open the draw but it didn't even budge which meant it was locked. "damn it...." he mumbled to himself and decided to look through the closet next but when he stood in front of it, he suddenly felt scared again.
there were a lot of stories about ghosts inside of the closet which made him hesitant. beomgyu looked around his surroundings one more time before calming himself. "gyu... there's no such things as ghosts lurking inside a closet! that's a kids story..." he muttered to himself, gathering all of his courage to pull open the closet door.
"AHHH!" he screamed in horror, thinking it might've been a dead body when a human suddenly fell out and slumped against his legs, but he then soon realized that the person wasn't dead. they were quite well and alive, it was taehyun, the boy that he had been running around the whole floor in circles just to look for.
why the hell was taehyun inside of a closet? he asked himself, crouching down and was about to shake the boy awake until he suddenly stopped himself. taehyun looked too peaceful to be woken up, so beomgyu decided against his idea and instead, found himself staring at the boy's face. somehow he felt as if taehyun was crying because his cheeks were stained with tears and the corners of his eyes were sparkling.
despite that, taehyun looked so innocent and pretty while he was asleep. beomgyu was lying if he said he didn't feel attracted to this male right before his eyes. "cute." he mumbled to himself before slowly reaching out his hand to poke the younger's soft squishy cheeks and wiping away the tears. the ravenette had only seen him adorn an annoyed, blank or pissed expression, so he very much preferred this taehyun better.
but why would taehyun be crying?
beomgyu was so distracted with thinking of numerous potential answers and staring at taehyun's face that he didn't even realized that the once sleeping male had already fluttered his eyes open. the ravenette continued to poke the other's cheeks with a small smile until he finally noticed a pair of eyes staring back at him.
beongyu flinched and quickly moved away in surprised with red tinted cheeks from embarrassment. to his shocking, taehyun didn't say anything and instead, sat up as if nothing had happened with a blank expression on whilst using his hands to wipe his cheeks which beomgyu assume were tears.
"you were crying...?"
"no, i wasn't." taehyun quickly replied.
"then, what's—"
"sweat."
beomgyu frowned, not believing the other's excuse but nonetheless, he slowly nodded and decided to let it pass.

it's been a while now and they both decided to stay inside of the bedroom for the night. "hey, i forgot to tell you that i found this." taehyun said, taking out a golden rusted looking key from his bag pack that he randomly found while being locked inside of the closet. "a key? what's that for?" beomgyu asked, curiously staring at the key in taehyun's hand.
"dunno. but i think it's for that drawer." taehyun pointed over at the locked drawer next to the bed. "let's unlock it then!" beomgyu excitedly stood up and so did taehyun. they both walked over towards the drawer and inserted the key into the keyhole. taehyun twists the key a few times, trying to open the drawer before it finally unlocked with a loud click.
the drawer was pulled open, revealing an old book. taehyun quickly took out the book and opened it. "oh my god! is that a death note—" taehyun hits the older's shoulder. "no, idiot. it seems to be a diary." beomgyu pouts. "well, that's lame." taehyun ignored the whining male and continued to read out the words on the first page.
dear, diary.
my parents suck. i wanted to go to this cool party that my crush was hosting but they wouldn't let me go. i sometimes think they don't let me have fun at all! that's why i've decided to write a diary of my own to let out my frustrations since i have no one now. i really wish i could go and finally confess, but my parents wouldn't approve of it. they want me to marry another guy. ew. anyways, i'll start writing more about my crush soon but for now, i feel miserable and i just want to sleep, so I'd forget about it. goodnight!
— yujin.
"booorrrringggg!" beomgyu whined causing taehyun to roll his eyes. "well, suck it up while i finish reading this whole thing." taehyun said, walking over towards where they both sat earlier and sitting down on the floor, leaning his head against the bedroom door. beomgyu followed behind and sat down next to the younger who was already reading the next page.
"hey, wanna play a mario game with me?"
"no." taehyun coldly replied, not even glancing at the ravenette.
the ravenette clicked his tongue in annoyance and pulled out his nintendo switch. he never once liked reading, he found it boring, so he was annoyed at how taehyun chose a dumb diary over his game. well, why does he care anyways? it's not like he likes to share his stuff and games. let alone, his nintendo switch.
maybe, because he hated being ignored. no one had ever ignored him. well, except yeonjun, of course.
'you wanna play this game, huh?' beomgyu thought to himself, turning to send a glare at taehyun who remained unbothered as he was too busy reading the diary which only made him even more annoyed. he turned back to look at his nintendo switch with a slight pout on his lips.

"shit!" beomgyu cursed, staring at the screen that displayed 'game over' on it. "having fun?" taehyun muttered, staring up at the ceiling with half lidded eyes. beomgyu glanced over at his right side and was surprised to see the younger leaning his head on his shoulder.
"already bored of it?" beomgyu asked in a mocking tone.
"pfft. it's too dark for me to read further and my eyes hurt. you've been looking at the screen for the past hour, doesn't your eyes hurt too?" taehyun looked up to glance at beomgyu.
"nope. sleep is for the weak."
taehyun let's an angelic laugh, it was the most prettiest thing that beomgyu had ever heard, and sat up properly - which half heartedly made beomgyu sad as he didn't mind the younger laying his head on his shoulder - but he wouldn't admit it.
"mind teaching me how to play it then?" beomgyu stared at the boy with a brow raised, surprised by the sudden question. taehyun himself was also surprised that he would even ask such things as he wasn't very fond of games in general, but he figured that if the older was enjoying it, he might too.
"geez. i thought you'd never ask."
