Chapter 29: Die for you

A day has passed and the sun was high. There were no clouds and the temperature sizzled the creatures under it. With a temperature of 45°C, the couple decided to make pancakes and eat ice cream.

When Lee Dohyeon called to tell his younger brother the good news, he didn't expect to see him kissing a man above the kitchen counter with his body smeared with honey and cream.

"Ehem." The little one was startled like a deer, he immediately struggled and the other one helped him tidy up.

Seeing the pair of men harmoniously interact with each other, he let out a sigh and his brows knitted with worry. Lee Dohyeon opened his mouth, "Brat, go and take a shower. I'll talk to your man first."

Yun Gyeong blushed at the word, "your man" and his brother rolled his eyes. The scampering figure was very opposite to his little brother's imposing aura when he directs his men to kill enemies.

After ensuring that his annoying brother was far enough, he nodded slightly to the other one who mirrored his stoic face.

"Seeing the mark on your nape, you already know what's next. Am I correct?" Pushing up his glasses that reflected the man's figure, he silently analyzed Han Jungsik's facial expressions and was relieved to find the other calm yet decisive.

"Yes. I'm taking it slow, I don't want him to get scared."

And run away from me. Han Jungsik's eyes glint dangerously as he seriously thought about the youth's reaction if he opened up about the conversion.

Suddenly, a head popped out angrily at the hallway. Yun Gyeong remembered that he forgot to take his underwear by the sink which was haphazardly thrown away in a fit of pleasure after teasing his partner. He didn't think that this man was actually actively courting death. He stomped his feet angrily as he went back inside the kitchen.

"What do you mean!? You knew about the conversion? So that's why you didn't ask why I marked you!", angrily throwing a fruit knife taken at the kitchen.

Han Jungsik eyes didn't even panicked nor moved his body to dodge. There was only a slight scratch but the blood made it look more frightening.

Howeve, this made Yun Gyeong shocked and became even more stressed, "Why didn't you dodge!?" The man was capable enough to dodge it but he still stood there while looking at me tenderly. So annoying!

Even though he said this, he immediately went forward to tend his man. Han Jungsik looked at his lover who was frowning while smearing some salve to his superficial wound. He rubbed the knitted brows and said, "I'm willing to die for you." Then smiled warmly causing his rarely shown dimples to appear.

Yun Gyeong stopped his actions and then looked at the man who was selling meng*.  ( Selling meng means acting cute. Han Han selling meng by smiling to coax his mad wife)

He poked the wound with the salve and laughed with anger, "Die for me? Are you cursing yourself to die in the conversion?—" He looked at his brother with blame, causing the other to look away. He continued, "—you want to die that bad?"

Ignoring the unfavored brother, he forcefully pulled the man and walked away. "Do you dare believe that I will kill you if you didn't wake up after conversion?"

Han Jungsik quickly reacted at the youth's question. The hidden meaning behind those words was that the other one permits him to be converted and was looking forward for the success. He immediately nodded to reply to his wife and the other continued to pull him to their bedroom.

Lee Dohyeon's projection was left in the kitchen and he could only watch helplessly at the two 'kids' walking away, completely forgetting he was there. He could only disconnect and went to his wife for comfort. He was just preparing his brother's husband for the worse ah! Why was he getting the hate? So ungrateful!

The annoying husband and the ungrateful wife sat on the bed while facing each other after washing themselves up. Baby was scratching the door to open but was immediately taken away by some servant. They were nervous about getting involved in the lover's spat.

Han Jungsik took his wife's hand and then placed it on his cheek. He didn't let the other one to refute him and spoke first, "Baby, I was wrong."

Yun Gyeong rolled his eyes but was inwardly soften by the man's approach. Initiating the cuddle, he took in the man's warmth and felt the familiar sense of security.

"Whatever happens, you must return to me." Yun Gyeong didn't look at his man and his head buried further in the man's embrace.

The man gently ran his fingers on his lover's hair and then softly agreed to the overbearing command. They are now together in this lifetime, he won't let the youth go. The youth was his only.

After a while, the hand's movement stopped and the youth laid the man's body slowly on the bed. Yun Gyeong took a deep breath and then called his brother. As soon as the projection appeared, he opened his mouth and said softly, "Let's start."

Author: Conversion isn't like biting the nape and then drain the blood. Yun Gyeong needs to inject Han Jungsik's body with a gene mutating agent that will recompose the DNA's structure into that of a vampire. Because marking is only applicable to vampire only.

Fun fact: Lee Dohyeon's wife was the first human to be converted into a vampire. Remember that his wife almost died? Its because the mutating agent was not yet tried on. Because of this experience, it is only logical for the big brother to worry about Hus younger brother's husband.

Han Han would be the seventh human to be converted into vampire.
