Chapter 20

Jennie's Pov

Startled by Luhan's sudden action I closed my eyes in fright while jin pulled me out of the line of fire, just a second before the bullet hits me.

After the gunshots settled down I opened my eyes slowly and looked down at the region to be fully covered with blood. Horrified at the sight of it I checked on jin for wounds but it wasn't from him it was from Luhan's dead body who was shot dead by the cops. Thanks to jin's quick reflex the bullet barely missed us and the cops fired Luhan instantly.

On realizing that jin is safe I hugged him in tears. "don't ever do this again, you startled me, I thought...I- I lost you", I spoke in the midst of my whimpers.

As I cry over him against his chest he gently stroked my hair and inquired about my well being not minding his wounds.

"yaah! Dumbo! it's not the time for you to worry about me, you are the one who got beaten up, look at you-", breaking the hug I gabbled on

"what is it? what's up with your look?", I asked noticing his wistful eyes.

"saranghae (love you) Jennie", leaning forward, he took me into a toe-curling kiss grabbing my waist.

"saranghae jin", I whispered back as we part away

"so, now shall we depart from here", grace asked out mocking me, gaining our attention.

"don't act innocent, we saw everything", she chuckled at us along with sejin sunbae as I hid myself behind jin in embarrassment.

Recovered from the situation we walked up to the ambulance where sejin sunbae arranged the needed medical facilities to avoid the commotion. Although jin was badly hurt, thank god he didn't end up breaking his bones and as of me, I got few scratches, cuts, and marks due to rope. Done with the treatment we arrived home where the boys, Seohyun and my uncle Francis were waiting for us now. 

"ah! You are going to break my bones", jin whined as the boys hugged him in tears

"Are you guys going to let us in or what?", I smirked gaining a chuckle from my uncle while the rest behaved strangely. Ignoring the awkward situation we headed inside

"yah! jungkook now I am back safe stop crying, Hyung is fine", jin hugged jungkook who is still crying hard

"jin Hyung! do you know how worried I was?" "I was worried to death"

"who told you to leave without a word?" "Hyung you startled us, don't ever repeat this again", the boys striked jin with n number of questions and threats for which jin eventually raised his hands in surrender.

"So how is everyone? is she hurt too?", Seohyun enquired about me to sejin as if I don't exist there.

"Why are you asking him when I am here?", I frowned

"sunbae (way to address senior people in work), I am talking to you and only to you, I don't talk to strangers", Seohyun said in a serious tone not looking at my face

"huh?"

"yah! we don't talk to traitors", the boys too joined her.

"stranger? traitor? What's up with you guys?"

"You have always told me that I am your lifeline, best friend, etc., yet you hid a lot from me then what's the meaning of it, I don't even know who am I even talking to-", Seohyun scowled

"It isn't like that, I don't want put you all in danger"

"what if something had happened to you? Do you think we don't care?", tae scoffed

"We considered you as one in our family but you hid a lot from us", hobi agitated

"We were hating you like fools without knowing the truth behind the rejection", jimin huffed

With a continuous stream of questions and complain now it was my turn to raise up my hands in apology. Holding my ears I pleaded to them for forgiveness.

"no, not so soon, first let me know all that you have been hiding from us then promise me not to hide anything from us now on and if you dare to break the promise I will break your bones for sure", Seohyun warned me and the boys seconded her. Sighing at Seohyun I revealed my identity to them.

"well my real name is yu yan, I am the heir of....(blah..blah) and Jennie isn't just a made up name, it was my nickname back then so stop complaining about that", I stressed the last part and looked at Seohyun purposefully who is accusing me of faking id.

"I don't care if your yu yan or whatever you are the same old Jennie to me always", Seohyun shrugged

"yeah noona is right, don't expect us to call you by your real name", tae added

"whatever"

"So now you are the only heir of s*** enterprises?", jungkook asked me

"When you said rich, I never thought you to be born with silver spoon", hobi exclaimed

"jin's future has been settled", Yoongi said nonchalantly

"Yaah! Stop it! don't behave as if you guys aren't rich"

"well that's true though", Yoongi shrugged

"I think I know your mom? is she a singer?", namjoon asked looking at my family photo which I happen to show them earlier

"she was"

"no wonder you are her daughter, you inherited her beauty and voice", namjoon smirked

"yah! stop drooling over my wife, she is mine", jin whined

"wife?", the boys exclaimed

"we confessed our feelings each other today and eventually we will end up getting married so from now on regard her as my wife, especially you tae", jin declared and gave a smug smile while I hid my face shyly

"traitor, you broke the promise already", Seohyun glared at me

"well...Ummm", I curled my fingers and looked down nervously

"do your finger dance later, first tell me how and when did it happen? who confessed it first? Give me details", Seohyun squealed and after a pause, she exclaimed at realization as my face turn red.

"no way, did you guys already ki-" before Seohyun could complete I shut her mouth signing her to stop revealing things

"what is it Seohyun?", namjoon asked her who has apparently heard something

"nothing, she was just asking how we were saved"

"sejin Hyung barged into the place with cops at right time", jin replied her

"Sunbae earlier in the hurry I forgot to ask you, how did you manage to pull off at the right moment? How do you know where we were?", I asked sejin gaining the attention of every one

"Actually, I was the one who told jin about you and on hearing the truth he dashed out of the studio to find you without any guards. When there wasn't any news from him for hours, I located him with tracker-"

"Tracker?!", the boys exclaimed in union

"well a month ago when jin was lost, I got an earful from Bang PD for being careless, so I implanted tracker in members stuffs like the watch, shoe, wrist band and they helped us now"

"So does that mean you know us where we were earlier when we lied to you", jungkook asked him in shock

"that's not fair, you should have at least told us about it when we were caught, we were pilling up lies like fools earlier", jimin frowned

Before sejin could defend himself he got a call from bang PD and with that, he escaped from jimin and jungkook bombarding questions.

"great escape sunbae! bang PD saved you at right moment", I smiled at him as he excused himself and walked outside
