Chapter 15

Writer's POV.....

Nandini and Navya came out of the cafe. They bid bye and went near their respective cars. Suddenly a gun shot was heard. Navya turned back only to see Nandini leaning on the car with blood oozing from her left shoulder. Navya ran towards her and gave her support. It was office time so there were only few people in the cafe. All were looking at them. No one came for help. Nandini's body was shivering and blood was flowing nonstop.

Navya took her to the nearby hospital. There doctor did the first aid. The bullet just pierced her skin. So it was not so serious. But she lost a major amount of blood.

After the first aid Nandini and Navya were sitting in the first aid ward.

Navya: Kaun the wo?? Aur kya chahte the??

Nandini: Pata nahi Navya. Mujhe kuch samajh nahi aa raha hain.

Navya: Nandini tumne abhi tak Manik ko phone nahi kiya hain.

Nandini: O ha. One minute.

She dialed Manik's number.

Phone conversation.....

Manik: Kya baat hain!! Aaj madam ne khud call kiya hain!!

Nandini: Ha kuch kaam tha. Busy ho??

Manik: Nahi. Batao.

Nandini: Wo actually main na Navya ke ghar ai hui hu. Late hoga jane me. To kya tum please Neel ko school se ghar drop kar sakte ho??

As she told this Navya's eyes widened in shock as she was lying. Nandini muttered a shut up to her as she was about to shout on her.

Manik: Ha ha. Don't worry. Waise Navya aur Abeer kaisa hain??

Nandini: Wo dono thik hain. Accha Manik main tumse baad me baat karti hu. Bye.

Manik: Okay. Bye.

As soon as they hung the call.

Navya: Nandini tum pagal ho kya?? Manik ko jhut kyun bola?? Tumhe use batana chahiye tha na??

Nandini: Nahi Navya. We are not sure that wo gun shot mere liye hi tha. Ho sakta hain ki wo kisi aur ke liye tha. Waise bhi Manik aise hi tension meaa jaega.

Navya: Par Nandini....

Nandini: Navya please. Choro ye sab. Waise koi bhi ye injury dekh nahi sakta. Ye to shoulder me hain.
       Aur waise bhi ye I'm fine now.

Navya: Tum sure ho ki tum thik ho??

Nandini: Ha Navya. I'm fine now.

Navya: Accha thik hain. Tum ab humare ghar chalo. Thori der aram kar lena.

They both left for Navya's house.
