CHAPTER 17

[ Two Brains  ]

---

Alex's Point of View

Dearest Alex,

What's the point of introduction if you already know who I am, right Alex? My masterpiece in that penthouse already provided you the answer.

Reading newspapers was not really my thing, but thanks to your brilliant deductions I found out that it is the perfect pastime while drinking hot coffee and eating three garlic bread for breakfast. Ah, did I already mention that my favorite article is 'Taste your own medicine' ? The editorial cartoon was nice though, but it kind a saddens me that the cartoonist can't draw my face right, oh well.

When Shaw Boulevard case went cold, I thought that no one will be able to connect the dots since I find Filipino detectives dumb.  Who would've thought that NBI actually raised an Hercule Poirot?

I should be scared since you are a threat, you are a menace to my on-going glory. But why do I feel exactly the opposite? You make me feel threatened and wet at the same time, is that even possible?

Oh, how many nights have I fantasized about you being bound to my little metal chair, begging for my mercy to stop? Oops! Don't let dirty thoughts fill your big brain, what I mean for begging me is to stop talking about how your little sister died in the hands of your senior way back in 1991.

Isn't that exciting? It will be nostalgic. In a cruel, sadistic way.

After that we will talk about your life now. Jazzquin, your girlfriend's name if I'm not mistaken? Does she know about your past? Does she know how she strongly resembles your little sister? Dirty dirty little Alex, I bet you already went through her skirt. Are you that 'guilty' for Jacky's death?

I'm guessing that I'm starting to hit a nerve so I'll cut off my bitchiness right here and end my lovely letter with a motivational message. Seek more, hate me more, entertain me more. I hope you catch my tail and knock at my front door soon, I'll serve you a tea without a poison I promise.

Love,

Jenny.

PS: Do nightmares still make you sweat like a river? Don't forget to change the sheets.
