"Phillip." I called out to him.

The memories of my dream came back to me. My hands gripped the blanket tighter. My palms were sweaty and I tried my best to secretly wipe it away. It was now or never right? Phillip must have noticed my distress as he walked closer to me.

"What's wrong? Had a bad dream?" he asked.

"No it's nothing." I quickly replied back, my voice almost cracking.

He raised his eyebrow, "You don't look alright." Phillip raised his hand and was about to touch my forehead when I decided to blurt out,

"I like men."

He looked at me and blinked. I did the same before the realisation hit me.

"Okay..?" he responded, confused at my sudden declaration.

"No, I didn't mean to say that." I wailed, burying my face into my palms.

Phillip stood there, waiting patiently for what I wanted to say. I stayed in the same position, my face still buried in my palms as I spoke once more, "Phillip."

He hummed, "Yes I'm here."

"I like you."

"Yes I like- wait." I could feel Phillip's stare on me but I didn't look up.

"Say that again." he asked.

"No it's embarrassing."

"Please?"

"No."

"Lily please?" he softly asked.

I sighed into my palms, "I like you Phillip."

His eyes lit up in delight, "Really? You mean it?"

"Yes.." I muttered.

Suddenly my hands that were on my face were pulled away and Phillip could see my face. I tried to cover my face again but he held my hands back.

"Look at me," he said.

"Why should I?" I childishly fought back but looked at him.

His face showed how happy he was. His cheeks slightly red, crescent eyes as he smiled warmly. His hand slowly caressed my cheek.

"I'm so happy, do you know that?"

"Wh...what for? It's nothing special." I mumbled but felt butterflies in my stomach.

He shook his head, tucking my hair behind my ear, "To me it's special. Because I can finally do this again."

He leaned in, kissing me on the lips tenderly. Fluttering my eyes shut, I kissed him back just as much. I felt his thumb stroking my cheek as we kissed. He pulled away and smiled cheekily.

"Does this mean we're officially lovers?"

I lightly laughed before nodding, "Yeah."

Phillip pulled me into a hug before kissing me once more. "I could do this forever." he said, chuckling as I rolled my eyes at him.

"We would die Phillip."

"Together?"

"Ew gross." I fake gagged at his cheesy lines but it didn't affect him at all.

"I'm too happy to be dampered by your words." he stuck his tongue out before kissing my forehead.

"I'm happy too." I softly said but he heard it loud and clear. He tightened his arms around me.

"Hey I know you two are happy and in love but please do it somewhere else and not in my room. I'm lonely okay." Ralph said, knocking on the door.

My face turned red before pushing Phillip far away from me. "Ralph! Uh how long have you been there?"
