"Very angry with you. You've stolen my best friend"
He pouted.
"I haven't stolen him, he's right with you"
"Only his body is. It's Izzy this, Izzy that. I mean, I get it, I'm the captain of the ship but I never thought he could get so whipped"
No response.
"This is Damion we're talking about. He barely even smiled, now he's floating around the room with his mind in fairy land"
A smile was tugging at her lips.
"Thank you, Isabella, for everything you did for him"
"I didn't...do anything"
"But you did. Over the past few years, I've tried everything possible to get the old Damion back. You brought him back. That was all you."
"I'm glad. Glad he's...better"
She heard him squeal on the other end.
"If you two aren't the cutest couple ever, well, I'll be damned"
"We're not a couple Jae"
"Yet. We can all see it coming"
"It's honestly just you"
She heard a voice in the background.
"Dumbass, who are you talking to?"
"Isabella"
"Give it to me"
She assumed the phone was passed because the voice on the other end belonged to none other than Damion.
"What has he said this time? I swear if another person needs therapy, I am never talking to him again"
She laughed.
"Oh nothing, except for the fact you can't stop talking about me"
She heard him mutter something along the lines of 'I'm going to kill him'
"He's lying. It hasn't crossed my mind since we last talked about it"
"Don't worry, I believe you"
"Don't get sarcastic with me"
"Only if you don't lie to me"
"Okay whatever. Maybe I've mentioned it a few times"
"A few times every hour huh?"
"I-I.." he stammered "Um no"
"Never thought the day would come when you'd lose your words"
He couldn't help the smile that was tugging on his lips.
"Not going to-"
