Chapter 16: UA Sports Festival! Pt.4

You were currently standing under a tree near the Faculty and Student Entrance with Shinso. You've been silent so you began to speak.

"Shinso..."

He looked at you, silence hovering over the atmosphere. But the tense vibe quickly faded away when a grin formed in her face and stars began appearing in her eyes.

"It's been so long!" You didn't hesitate at all to hug him tight.

Wow, he still is a teddy bear as he was before.

Shinso hugged you back with an amused smile, "Yeah."

"I didn't know you're a student at UA too," You said while letting go of him. He rubbed his neck and sighed, "Yeah, I know you expected me to be in the hero course but I ended up in general studies. Also, I didn't know you're here too."

You rubbed the back of your head and laughed nervously, "Ahahaha... Yeah. Anyway..." You stared at the ground, showing a sign of guilt. "...Shin, I'm sorry..." Tears escaped your eyes. You were too guilty but you didn't expect that you'd cry. You wondered if he'll forgive you for not keeping your promise. But you already knew what his answer's gonna be...

Suddenly, you felt warmth on your arms. He hugged you again, but this time, his hug was tighter, "It's okay. I know you needed to leave because of your mother and... it's fine that you didn't keep your promise."

You cried on his chest and hugged him back. You couldn't believe he forgave you after all these years of separation. His personality was still soft despite how he looked and you were the only one who knew that side of him. You let go of each other as you formed a grin, "Thank you."

"You're welcome, N/N," You wiped your tears then heard voices not so far from where you stood. You searched for the people who owned those voices until you found Midoriya and Todoroki in the entrance. You hid at the wall since they were inside, Shinso came with you too. You were both eavesdropping at the other two who was talking to each other secretly. You wondered what they were talking about.

"What's wro--"

"Shhh. They might hear you," You whispered.

"Iida, Kaminari, Yaoyorozu, Tokoyami, Uraraka... none of them felt it. At that last instant, I was the only one who was overpowered. Only me, who had experienced All Might's full power up close," Todoroki spoke.

None of them felt it? Felt what?

"What... does... that mean...?" Midoriya asked insecured, "It means I felt something similar coming from you. Midoriya, are you..." You waited for Todoroki to continue. He felt Midoriya and All Might's similar strength while you noticed their connection.

I'm waiting Todoroki...!

"...All Might's secret love child or something?"

Eh? It's similar to what I was expecting but, secret love child? I wanna laugh so hard right now... has Todoroki been reading some mangas and animes about family issues? Because my mind tells me so. But anyway, both Todoroki and I felt something suspicious about Midoriya and All Might. It's like a puzzle, we already found pieces but not enough to prove we're right.

"Well, are you?"

"Th-That's not it! I mean, even if I was, I would say I wasn't, so I don't think you'd believe me, but anyway, that's not how it is..." Midoriya spoke too fast that you couldn't understand everything he just said. The only clear thing you heard was that he said that it was not how it was.

If he's saying that, then--
