Chapter 35: I Love You Too, But...

"Hey! Let him go and get me out of here!"

You hoped they heard you from outside even though the door was locked and it seemed like the room you were in was sound-proof.

It's been two days since you were kidnapped-- actually, since Bakugo was kidnapped-- and you were taken with him. They locked the two of you inside a dark room where there was only one light bulb on the ceiling. It was the room's only source of light since there were no windows at all.

You've been forcing them to let him go but no matter how many times you made them get irritated, they had no intentions on freeing the person they've been meaning to kidnap.

"Shut up, Y/N. You've been yelling for two whole days, haven't you had enough?" You turned your head to the blonde whose tone was very unusual. You've never heard him saying things like that before, plus, he sounded a bit calm.

"What do you mean? I just want them to let you go, they have no reason to take you!" You protested.

You wanted to slap him so the usual Bakugo would come back but since you were both tied in a some kind of chair with metal handcuffs on your hands, you couldn't move a single muscle. There were also chains attached on you to the chair so you can't stand up either, you were in a pretty handy situation.

"I'll get ourselves out of here once they talk to me again. I have a plan so just stick your ass to that goddamn chair for now."

Knowing he wants to save the both of you really bothered your mind. He can't take you with him, you wanted to convince him that he only needs to escape by himself. But for some reason, you just can't.

"Bakugo... just save yourself..." You muttered out. He furrowed his eyebrows in confusion, "I'm not going anywhere unless I take you with me. We're kidnapped for pete's sake!" He snapped.

You stared at the floor with a grim look, "Don't... you shouldn't take me... I don't--"

"Let me save you, damn it! I was never there when you were in danger, and it fucking frustrates me! I want to save you by myself even if it means risking my own life! Ever since you came, I felt different sorts of emotions and I had no idea why. But seeing you get hurt because of some fucking villain, I feel like I was going to lose you! But you always save yourself, I get that you're strong, but for once, I also want to protect you. Even though I failed to have your love, I can't help myself but to always think about you... It bugs me but I get it. I get that I was starting to fall for you, but why isn't it enough? Even though you don't love me back... I still want to save you... Even though you're an idiot sometimes... I still want to love you. I want you to trust me! I will protect you no matter what so don't do anything stupid to get yourself in danger again."

You froze for a few minutes before staring back at the floor. It stinged you when he said that you didn't love him back, you wanted to let him know so bad.

Confession is the least I can do before we part ways...

"Bakugo..."

"Trust me, damn i--!"

"It's not true that I don't love you back!" He paused and his eyes were as wide as All Might's smile. He couldn't believe what he heard just now.

"I... I started falling for you too.... But... We just can't... We can't be together, you don't know me. The real me. Once this is all over I know you're going to hate me with everyone else. I'm not the Y/N you think I am, I'm different from the Y/N you know, the fake Y/N... I'm sorry... But before we separate ways, I want to tell you that I love you too. I love you so much I don't know what to do anymore..."
