Andrew wasn't allowed to leave the infirmary yet, but he still felt better than before.
Victor and Luca went into a match every so often, but they'd spend most of the time talking to Andrew to pass the time. They thought that it must get lonely just sitting there all day.
Andrew glanced over at Luca. Victor was getting done with an early morning match and then he'd be back, so the two had about five more minutes.
"How're ya feeling?" Luca asked Andrew, a smirk creeping up on his face.
"Well, uh, better-"
"Because it must have really hurt when you fell from heaven."
Andrew paused a second. Was Luca really trying to attempt to flirt with him? Here? Now?
Andrew sighed and rolled his eyes in annoyance. "Jeez, you must have hit your head really hard if you can't even remember that you were the one who fell."
He looked back over at Luca, who was frozen in place and turning red. It took him a moment to realize what he had said and he quickly looked away, feeling his own face quickly heat up.
You idiot! What were you thinking?! Now he's gonna think you reciprocated his flirtatious mood and he's gonna do it more!
"Didn't really think you'd be the type to do it back," Luca taunted as he chuckled to himself, his sharp tooth being able to be seen. It's like he had just simply rubbed the blush off his face. "Though, I ain't arguing."
Andrew grumbled and laid his arm over his eyes. At least he wouldn't see himself look like a flustered mess.
"How about you try one, Kreiss?"
"N-No, thanks," Andrew said, turning down the offer. "I'm not good at them, anyway."
"Oh, c'mon! It's like giving a compliment!"
"Not too good at that, either."
"Uh huh. Sure. It's not that hard."
Andrew shrugged. "Hard for someone who otherwise doesn't like to talk."
At that moment, Victor came through the doors, waving to the two.
Thank Lutz, Andrew thought to himself as the postman seated himself in one of the chairs. With someone else in the room, Luca wouldn't try that stupid flirting stuff again. Right?
Nope.
"So, Vic," Luca started, that same smirk on his face. "Do you like looking up at the stars?"
Victor shrugged. "Yeah. Why?" He took one of the blank letters out of his bag to start writing on it.
"Because I'm looking up at one right now."
Victor's face went red and he pulled up the unfinished letter to cover his face. Apparently he didn't do too well at taking flirting, either.
Luca grinned in triumph and leaned back in his seat, taking in the moment. Had he finally managed to do it? It had been a while since he had meant so do that.
"Y-You're really bad at this, you know," Andrew said, his arm still resting over his eyes.
"So what if I am?" Luca asked.
Andrew paused before replying, "Touché." There wasn't really any counterargument to that fact.
Victor turned away from the other two and wrote on his letter. He was making two new types of letters that he hadn't made before, but he was excited for when he would give them out.
On one of them, he wrote in big letters "get well soon" with a few smiley faces and balloons. Whatever people usually smiled to. That made people get better sooner, right?
On the bottom of the other one, right next to his signature, he drew a small heart in red ink, which made him smile. That one would be the harder one out of the two to give to someone.
