"ADDY!ADDY!ADDY!"
I turn around to see Jack running up behind me in the hallway of the apartment.
I laugh as he grabs me and spins us around with a childish excitment.
"Guess what! Guess what! Guess what!" Jack's litterally a jittering ball of energy right now.
"What, Jack?" I continue to giggle. "Are you gonna repeat everything three times?"
"My mom said yes! Baby, you can come stay with me!"
He squeezes me hard and I squeeze back with a weightlessness to me.
"Oh my god, Jack, that's amazing news."
I didn't even realize how relieved I'd be to hear that. There's so much weight lifted off of me in that moment and my eyes begin to prickle.
Jack rubs my back soothingly when I sniffle softly and he pulls me back; searching my face, then smiling when he sees that I'm not upset.
"Wanna go start packing some of your stuff?"
I nod, but steal a kiss first.
