I remember when I started 'Along Came Timi' late last year, 2019. I was just new to Wattpad and reading Nigerian teen fiction inspired me to write mine. I didn't know anything about writing a story but I did anyways.
I started writing a cliche story about a high school boy and girl falling in love, I was at it for a while till my book got to 1k reads. I remember how happy I was that day. As the story reads increased, the hateful comments and reviews started. Sometimes I'd delete the story and then republish it again.
I used to care about them till I met amazing writers who hyped me a bit, they motivated me to keep writing even though the story didn't really have a good Start and then I tried to make the story different as much as I could but really what's a love story without a bit of those toes curling cliché moments?
Anyways I want to thanks all my Wattpad friends who read, voted and commented on my book. You guys stuck with me till the end regardless of the fact that I'm a slow writer. You guys are the real MVPs.
I would have mentioned names but una plenty😂 but if you've ever read, voted, commented and recommend this book I love you❤❤
