♡ Chapter Thirteen ♡

※Autumn's POV※

The next morning I woke up and just layed in bed for a few minutes. Still in disbelief that I kissed my best friend twice. Since that happened, where are we gonna go from here? I wanted to stay and think all day, but I needed to start getting ready for work. I forced myself out of bed and slowly started dragging myself around. I threw together a random outfit decent enough and put my hair into a messy bun since it was still straightened from yesterday.

When I arrived at the Café, I clocked in and started getting things ready for the day ahead. As I was doing so, I heard Anna and Dani eventually clock in.

“Okay, spill it. How did it go?” Anna immediately asked.

“Good morning to you too,” I laughed.

“Come on girl! Tell us!” Dani begged.

“Of course you told Dani,” I said looking at Anna.

“You already know,” Anna winked.

“Well.. It went pretty good,” I teased.

“Nahh, we want details,” Anna said.

I laughed once again and finally talked about the date, “Okay, so he gave me some flowers before we left.”

“Ooo, a gentleman I see,” Dani said.

“And then we went to this really nice restaurant. The food was amazing, I legit stuffed my face. And after that he drove us to the closest beach to watch the sunset,” I explained, leaving out the major detail.

“Awww, that sounds really nice. So are you guys gonna do something else?” Anna asked.

“Um I don't know. After we kissed we didn't really discuss a second date just yet,” I said, smiling after including that we kissed.

Both Dani and Anna's eyes widened.

“Woah, woah, woah, kissed?” Anna asked, seeming shocked and happy at the same time.

“Twice,” I said happily.

“Damn, Autumn. You move fast!” Dani laughed.

“If y'all don't become a couple soon I'm gonna have to fight somebody,” Zoey joked.

“Chill, Anna,” I laughed, “I just don't wanna rush things. Especially after my past relationship. I wanna do it right this time.”

“Yeah, you're right Autumn. Just be careful okay? I know it can be hard getting in a new relationship after a bad one.” Dani said.

“Yeah I guess so. But answer me this.... How was it?” Anna interrogated.

“It was perfect in every single way,” I said, remembering everything in my mind.

“Oh my gosh!! I'm so happy for you!” Dani exclaimed, “I honestly have good feelings about this guy.”

“Me too, hopefully. But I don't want to get my hopes up too high just yet. Well we better start doing something before we get fired,” I laughed.

“Ugh, alright,” Anna said rolling her eyes, “But keep us updated alright?”

“Of course I will,” I grinned.

※Dashie's POV※

“So how did it go?” Sport's voice blasted through my phone speaker.

“It went great, man. We both had a pretty good time. I took her to this nice lil restaurant and then we went to the beach for a little bit.”

“Oh alright, I see you man.”

“Oh and uh, we may or may not have kissed.... twice.”

“You're lyin'.”

“Nah, man I'm telling the truth!”

“Twice?? That's almost the same as getting pussy on the first date!”

“What the fu-? Really Sport?”

I heard him laugh through the phone and he said, “I'm just messing, but look at you! My boy making moves step by step.”

I laughed a little too and said, “Yeah I guess so.”

“Well if you keep that going and maybe tell her you you feel.. maybe something will happen.”

“I sure do hope so, I really do like her. Like a lot.”

“Well if you need any advice you know what to do. I'll holla at you later.”

“Aight, later man,” I said as I hung up.

I set my phone down and put my hands on my face and took a deep breath.

I really hope so.
