''Well, welcome to America bro,'' Kang Hyeyeon, my sister, greeted me at the Los Angeles airport. So this is America. I've never been in America but my sister and I learned English when we were still young. ''How have you been Y/N? Long time no see.''

Hyeyeon is only 2 years older so she's my big sister and one of my biggest supporters. ''Hi sis, I'm feeling..'' I took a small pause before answering. ''I feel depressed actually.'' 

''What? Really? Oh wait, I know why.''

FLASHBACK

''Dad! I can't break up with Heejin! I love her dad..I really do. When are you going to start caring about me? You never do!'' Yelling in the office made my father's anger level rise up a notch which didn't concern me at all. I'm very much used to this. 

''Excuse me?! I don't care? I care for you Y/N! I know what's best for you and your reputation. You should even be thanking me right now, you useless brat! You are breaking up with Heejin! And after that, you're going to the States 2 days after. Here's your ticket. Have fun with your sister!'' My father pushed me out of his office as I fell to the ground, sobbing. 

''I'm sorry Heejin, I'm so sorry. I love you so much.''

''Let's break up, Heejin.'' 

I felt as if I was about to cry so I pushed a smile. I left her at the cliff and started to pack my stuff. Intentionally, I left my phone at Loona's dorm as if I dropped it last night before I went out with Heejin. Maybe she'll find it and won't forget about me even though I need her to hate me. 

I know she loves me a lot. She's made it clear that she won't let go of me. But for now, I need her to hate me. I don't want to see her suffer when I'm gone. 

In the meantime, I cleared my penthouse. It's still technically mine since my father owns the whole building. I can just come back to it any time. 

The day before leaving Korea, I visited my mom at her and dad's house. I rarely go in there anymore since it's quite far but I decided to make an effort. I'm going to miss mom a lot anyways. The house is modern, two story with two dogs. There is a code which I already know the password to so I freely walked in only to see my mother watching Heejin's fancams..?
