Its a month later and I have an appointment with Samantha after school. I have managed to go all month without drinking any alcohol. When the others would drink at the weekend me and Payton would go to his dorm and watch movies or tv all night.
The bell for the end of the day finally goes, I pack up all of my stuff and leave history. I go to Samantha's office and walk straight in. She's already in her chair, I drop my bag on the floor and sit on the sofa.
"God I hate history, like what's the point of it, its so stupid" I say complaining to her
"We all have to do things we don't like but Thursday is your one month sober" she starts
"Yes indeed it is" I say acting interested
"I talked with the principle and I have managed to get you family passes" she says "They are so you can go visit your family whenever you want, and your mums brining you car here tomorrow" she says
"Oh ok" I say kinda disappointed "Guess what I did" I say changing conversation
"What did you do Kaden" she asks
"I managed to convince Payton to watch frozen 2 with me, I don't even like frozen that much" I half laugh
"Ahhh Payton" she says "You talk about him a lot" she says and I roll my eyes
"No I don't" I say looking at the wall behind her
"Kaden I know you well enough by now, when you don't look at me your avoiding something. You've talked about Payton for over half the session the past three sessions" she says
"Ok and what's your point" I say "So what if I talk about him a lot, I spend a lot of time with him when the others are drinking"
"Ok I was just saying, Is their anything specific you want to talk about today" she asks and I shake my head "I was informed your here in an art scholarship, you like to draw?" She questions
"Yeah, I have this black book that I draw in, if I need to get something out of my mind or I can't concentrate I draw in it" I say
"Would you ever be interested in the art club" she asks looking up from her note pad
"Hell no, I don't do clubs" I say shaking my head
"Ok" she says "what are you doing this weekend" she asks
"Probably watching movies with Payton like always" I say
"So your not going back to drinking" she says and I shake my head "Why don't we try two months sober"
"Sure why not one month was easy" I say
We talked for the rest of the two hours that I was their. After I go back to my dorm do some homework before going to the dining hall for dinner. I see the others and join, I sit next to Jordan and opposite Payton.
"How was todays session" Payton asks
"Good as a reward I'm getting my car and family passes so I can see them whenever I want" I say and he nods his head "and I decided to do another month sober"
"Really I thought you would drink with us this weekend" Jordan says
"Nope sober again" I say
"Do you think you could make it to thanks giving, that would make you almost three months sober when you go home" Maddie says
"Maybe" I say "I could try"
"I don't think you could do it" Liam says
"Shut up you ass" Liv say slapping him round the head gently
