I wake up the next morning and get dressed into jeans and one of Paytons hoodies. I know I should give them back but I don't want to. I do my mascara and eye liner then tie my hair up before leaving my room. I get some breakfast and the girls are already up. They boys come round a little early.
"You ready for English" I ask Payton
"Yeah you" he asks
"Yeah, we better get a good grade" I say
"We probably will because you did most of the work" he says
"I think you forgot how dumb I am" I say
"You ready to go" Maddie asks interrupting our conversation.
They leave and not long after I get given my work. I get started on it and finish the first three lessons before break. I have half an hour so I decide to watch tv. When the bell goes I make my way to the cafeteria, I get something to eat before finding everyone and sitting down.
"You guys drinking this weekend" I ask and everyone looks at me weirdly "What" I ask
"After last week I would have thought you wouldn't want to know" Jordan says
"Guys I don't care ok, are you drinking" I ask again
"Yeah" Maddie says
"Actually imma sit this one out" Payton says
We talk some more before the bell goes. Me and Payton go to English and take our normal seats. Mr Morgan goes through the class and everyone gets a chance to present. Ours went pretty well.
"Ok, you will be give grades on Mondays lesson. Pack away and get ready for next lesson" He says
We pack away and talk for the last few minutes of class. When the bell goes I go back to my dorm and finish the rest of my work. I end up working into lunch so I have a late lunch at my dorm. Once I'm done I watch a bit of tv before tidying up after myself. I go to my room and take a nap. I get woken up when the girls come back from practice.
"Were just getting a few things before we go to the boys dorm" Liv say
"Wanna come" Maddie offers
"No thanks, I'll stay here" I say
"Ok but you know where we are if you need us" she says and I nod.
I sit on the sofa and watch tv, we say our goodbyes before they leave. After a while I get hungry so I make something to eat. I go back to watching tv but get interrupted by a knock at the door. I pause the tv and go answer the door. I open the door and see Payton.
"Hey, what are you doing here" I ask
"Didn't want to be around drunk people tonight and this was the place I thought of coming" he says as I let him in
"You do know you could have just walked in, you normally do" I say
"I thought it would have been better to knock. Didn't know if you were angry and don't feel like dying today" he laughs
"I would never kill you" I laugh
We sit on the sofa and watch tv. We make small talk that soon dies out, I can tell he feels awkward and pretty tense. After I get tiered of it so I go to my room, I put my shoes and get my keys. I walk out and grab a jacket.
"I'm going to make sure none of them are dead" I say, truth is I just wanna get out of here
"Ok, see you in a bit" he says before I leave
I go to the boys dorm and its clear that they are tipsy but not drunk. I manage to get in without them realising. It seems like they think I've been here all night. Jordan starts making everyone drinks.
"Kaden what do you want" he asks getting me a cup
"Nothing she's sober" Liv half slurs. Being here is reminding me of everything last week and just want those thoughts out of my head
"Pass it to me you won't make it strong enough" I say taking the stuff away from him and making myself a drink.
A few hours later and I'm tipsy borderline drunk, I'm such a light weight now. I get myself one last drink before I leave. I drink it on the way back not caring if I get caught. I get to my dorm and realise I left my keys in the boys dorm and I'm not going all the way back. I knock in the door and Payton lets me in.
"Your still here" I say trying to sound sober
"Yeah I was waiting for you" he says "Have you been drinking" he asks looking at the cup in my hand
"Yeah, why do you care" I ask
"Because I still care about you and I thought you were going sober again" he says and I roll my eyes
"Being sober sucks. I overthink and I feel and I don't like it. Its shit" I say "I mean all I can think about is last week and how much it hurt and how much I hate myself because I did the same thing to you" I say
"It hurt when I found out but I knew I could trust you so I didn't care. Don't hate yourself for it and all I want is to be able to go back to last week and make sure it never happenes" He says and I don't say anything back "Lets get you some water and into bed" he says
He goes to the kitchen while I go to my room and get ready for bed. I get in bed and there's a knock at the door before Payton walks in. He hands me a glass of water and I take a huge sip. I drink most of it before giving it back and he puts it on my desk.
"Thank you" I say quietly
"For what" he asks
"For always caring and everything" I say
"I will always care for you and I'm always here when you need me. Anyway get some sleep" he says
"Goodnight" I say as I close my eyes
"Goodnight sleep well" he says before leaving my room.
I soon manage to fall asleep. I get woken up when the girls come back but I ignore it and go back to sleep.
A/n: this one is shorter than the rest but I was running out of ideas so deal with it. Also I'll only be posting once a day because I kind broke my laptop a little.
