I wake up the next morning and hear someone in my dorm. The girls didn't text me saying they are coming back so I go see who it is. I walk out of my room and see Payton in the kitchen.
"You scared me I thought someone was here to kill me" I say
"Nope brought you breakfast" he says handing me some food
"Thank you" I say taking it and sitting on the sofa
I put something to watch on while we eat. I tidy up then get ready for the day. My rooms a mess so I tidy that as well. I go around the dorm tidying things until it looks ok, I also clean the kitchen. After I go sit next to Payton.
"Can I spend time with my girlfriend now she's stopped tidying" he asks
"No, I'm leaving" I say getting up
"What why" he asks confused
"Because you smell" I say walking away
"Nope that's it" Payton says getting up
He runs after me and chases me around the dorm. I run around the coffee table but Payton manages to catch me, he picks me up from behind and spins me around.
"Payton put me down" I scream as the door opens
"What if I don't" he says
"I will hurt you" I say
"Don't hurt him, he's your soulmate" Liv says as she walks in
"You two seem closer" Maddie says
"We did spend the last two weeks together" I say "Anyway when are the boys supposed to get here" I ask taking the convocation off of us
"In a few hours" Liv says, most people come back today "When did you guys get back" she asks
"Yesterday, I wanted to beet the back to school rush" I say
"Fair enough" Maddie say
Payton goes back to his dorm and the girls unpack. I stay in the living room and they eventually join me when they are done. The boys come over when they're back and we all catch up. Maddie, Jordan and Liv are on bean bags on the floor and Me, Payton and Liam are on the sofa. Like always I rest my head on Paytons shoulder.
"So what happened with you two" Jordan asks
"Nothing much" I say "I got drunk that's basically it"
"Yay she's back" Liam says
"No. I got drunk once and I'm going back to sober, I don't like hangovers" I say
"Bitch" Liam says
"Whore" I say back "Anyway I'm hungry what are we eating"
We decide on somewhere to get food from and we order food. I stay in the living room until my phone starts ringing. I go to my room and answer the facetime call as I sit at my desk.
"You never texted saying you were safe, I thought you were dead for a second" she says
"Sorry I had forgot by the time I unpacked everything" I say
"Oh so you were fucking Payton" she says with a smirk
"No I wasn't, stop talking about that its weird he's your cousin" I say
"And your my best friend, your supposed to tell me everything" she says
"I know and theirs nothing to tell" I say "What's happened since I've been gone" I ask
"Well we went to a party, Jamie hooked up with thins 19 year old" Esther says
"Jeez illegal much" I joke
"I'm leaving for rehab in two days" she says rolling her eyes "I stayed at yours last night" my mum practically raised Esther because she was always at my house and same with her mum "She was on the phone to the police. I think she's going to get a restraining order against your dad" she says
"Good, I want him gone for good" I say. We continue to talk until there is knock at my door and I let them in.
"Who you talking to" Payton asks looking at my phone "Oh its Esther, anyway foods here"
"Ok, I'll talk later Esther" I say and we say our goodbyes the go eat food with the others.
(Time skip - a week)
I'm in my room with Payton and the others are out doing whatever. Me and Payton said we had extra homework. That been our excuse to get out of things to spend time together. I paus the tv when there's a knock at the door so I go see who it is.
"Oh it's only you" I say letting Liv in the dorm
"Who else would it be" she laughs "We're going to the boys dorm you two coming" she asks
"Later probably, we ordered food" I say as she grabs a few things
"Baby what's taking..." he trails off as he sees Liv
"Baby, did he just- No way" she cuts herself off "How long" she ask
"A month" I say "I wanted to let you guys figure it out, so you have to let the others figure it out"
"But we have and you guys say no" she says
"No we don't we just change the subject and you guys forget" Patron says
"Anyway I gotta get back see yous later" she says before leaving
Not long after our food arrives, we go back to my room and eat while finishing the tv show we were watching. After I tidy the mess away and we go to the boys dorm.
"Look its my favourite couple" Liv says as we walk in
"why is everyone so obsessed with our relationship" I say sitting down on a bean bag
"Wait you actually dating like for real" Maddie says
"Yes it's no big deal" I say
"Yes it is, he's your soulmate and your finally together" Maddie says
"For a month as well" Liv says
They continue to talk about our relationship and I ignore them. When the conversation changes I join back in. We talk for a few hours but end up watching tv. Just before curfew we go back to our dorm and Payton comes with us. I have a shower and get ready for bed. I go to the living room where the girls are.
"So how did you get together" Maddie asks
"Well if you really want to know" I start "He told me he liked me when he was drunk remember" I say and they nod their heads "And we left the school dance and came back here he asked how I felt I panicked and kissed him then told him I liked him" I say
"Awww cute" Liv says
"I'm not finished. Then Liam called saying he needed him so he left, I left to go home early the next day and over thought everything that could go wrong then ignored him. My friend Esther, his cousin, made him come round mine and we talked and became a thing but didn't actually ask me out till the next day" I finish
"Wow that was a lot" Maddie says "But I'm so happy you guys are together"
"Yeah your endgame I can tell" Liv say
"I'm happy too, he's perfect" I say with a smile
"Awww sounds like your falling in love" Maddie says 'Maybe I am' I thought to myself
I get up and go to my room and get in bed with Payton, he lays his head on my chest and I play with his hair as I fall asleep.
"Goodnight baby" I mumble as I fall asleep
"Goodnight babe" he also mumbles
