"Where were you yesterday" my mum asks as I walk into the kitchen.
"I went to meet everyone" I say getting some breakfast
"How did that go" she asks
"I didn't do anything if that's what your trying to ask" I say
"Good, I'm proud of you" she says and I nod I get my breakfast and eat it in the living room.
Once I'm finished I go to my room and get ready for the day. I'm leaving Saturday which means I only have 3 days left.
"Hey I thought we could spend the day together, haven't really seen you since I've been home" I say to Ava as I walk in her room
"Sure, let me finish getting ready then we can go town" she says and I leave her room.
Not long after she comes to my room and we leave. She drives us to the mall, we walk around and catch up.
"So how's collage" I ask as we walk out of a store
"It's alright, kinda hard but I'll get their" she says. She goes to a local collage so she can still live at home. "You still plan on moving to Florida" she asks
"Yeah, we haven't spoke about it in a while though" I say
"What did you even plan" she ask
"After senior year we Me, Jamie, Kai and Esther move to Florida. Jamie gets a proper job in whatever she likes. Me and Esther get local jobs that pay the rent and Kai does whatever" I explain
"And you actually think that's going to work" she says "you need to plan it more than that"
"Yeah I know" I say as we walk into another store
When we get hungry we go to the food court. We decide to get Taco Bell and I make Ava order. I find a table and text my friends. She comes back and we eat. I laugh at something and she gives me a word look.
"What you laughing at" she asks trying to be nosey
"Just something Payton said" I say not looking away from phone
"Payton huh?" She says "what's up with him" she ask
"Nothing we're just friends, that may like each other but he doesn't need to know that" I say
"Awwww cute, you like someone" she teases making me roll my eyes
"Shut up" I say
"Your not denying it" she says and I stop talking to her.
We finish our food and go to our last shop before going back home. I go to my room and put the stuff away. I pack some of it to tale back to school. I'm sitting on my bed when I hear something hit my window, I ignore it until it happens again. I go to my window and open it.
"What do you want" I ask Esther
"Let us in" she says
"Ok go to the front of the house" I say and I close my window again.
I go let them in and we go to my room. Jamie and Kai sit on the floor, Esther sits at my desk and Payton sits next to me on my bed. I put music on for us to listen to.
"Omg I forgot this was here" Kai says pulling a storage box out from under my bed
"What's that" Payton asks
"A box full of alcohol I use to hid from my mum" I say as they open it "You guys can have whats in their, I don't want it no more"
They start arguing over who's getting what and me and Payton sit back and watch. We start having a convocation of our own, we kinda go into our own world.
"Do you think they know were still here" Jamie says
"I don't know" Esther says
"Yes we know your here, I just don't like you guys" I say jokingly earning me a middle finger from Kai and Jamie and a death stare from Esther
"See I'm the favourite cousin" Payton says sticking his tongue out at Esther
"Shut up before I beat you up" She says
"I'd like to see you try" he laughs
"No one is fighting in my house" I say before they kill each other.
They're here for a few house before they have to home. I walk them to the door and give them hugs goodbye, Payton last.
"I'll come back tomorrow" he says pulling away from the hug and I give him a confused look "Movie night we do every Friday"
"Ohhh yeah, come round at like four to five" I say, he nods and leaves with the others.
(Time skip - Friday)
I haven't done much today and I don't make and effort to get dressed. I eventually decide to get in the shower. I throw on some sweats and a hoodie I stole from Payton. I put my hair in a messy bun and hear the door bell go. Before I can answer it Ava already has. I see Payton standing at the door with chick fil a.
"Hi Ava this is Payton, Payton this is Ava. Ok let's go" I say grabbing his hand and taking him to my room.
I sit on my bed and he sits next to me. He hands me my food and we start to eat.
"What was that about" he asks
"I didn't feel like playing 100 questions with my sister" I says "Anyway what do you want to watch" I ask
We decide on some movies. I take the rubbish and put it in the bin. I go back to my room and we start the first movie. During the third movie Payton puts his head on my shoulder. I end up laying down with his head on my chest and playing with his hair. By the end of the movie he's asleep. I turn the tv off and go on my phone. He tosses and turns for a bit before waking up.
"Why didn't you wake me up" he asks
"You looked too peaceful" I say
"Ok, it's late I should go home" he says
"Ok, do you want me to take you back on Saturday" I ask
"Yeah please" he says.
I walk him to the door and give him a hug goodbye. I go back to my room and go into my phone. Ava walks in and sits at the end of my bed.
"So why was Payton here" she asks
"We have a movie night on Fridays when our friends would drink, it's how I stayed sober" I said
"Awwww cute" she says
"Stop saying everything is cute. It's not cute" I say
"But it is. You falling in looovvveee" she jokes
"Your so annoying, get out" I say pushing her off my bed then out of the room. Am I falling in love? No way, I don't do that.
