"Sup bitches" I say to Kai and Ava as I walk in the park. Avas on the swing so I sit on the floor next to Kai.

"Hey, how have you been" Ava asks once I've sat down

"Good, how bout you guys" I ask

We catch up until I hear the park gate squeak open, I turn and see Payton and Esther. I run up to them and give Esther a hug.

"Omg I missed you" I say as me and Esther sway back and forth

"I missed you too" she says

"Hey I missed you too" Payton laughs as I pull out of the hug with Esther

"I guess I missed you" I joke as I give him a hug

We walk over to the others, Esther sits on the swing and I sit on the floor, Kai to my left and Payton to my right.

"Guys this is my cousin Payton" Esther says "He goes to school with Kaden"

"Hey" he says waving slightly

We talk some more before Esther pulls out a bottle of alcohol, she passes it around and obviously I decline the offer. She rolls her eyes as she pulls the bottle away from me.

"C'mon just one drink wont hurt" she says waving it about

"No Esther, I'm not drinking. I just got to three months sober I'm not throwing that away" I say

"Lame ass" she says taking another sip

"Sure if you call getting her life together so she can do something with her life lame the sure" Payton says

"That's right defend your girlfriend" Esther says

"I'm not his girlfriend, and he's only defending me because he's been there for me the entire time. He's done more than you have" I say

"Whatever" she says rolling her eyes "I miss the old Kaden, the fun Kaden"

"Fuck you" I say standing up.

I leave and go to my car, I just sit their for a bit. As I go to turn the car on Payton gets in.

"I'm sorry about her" he says "She probably doesn't like that your doing something with your life and she's stuck here and you've stoped talking to her."

"Ok and that doesn't mean she has to be a bitch. Maybe I would talk to her if she wasn't high or drunk all the time" I say

"I know but she's just struggling with the rehab thing and she feels like she's losing he best friend" he says

"Still a bitch, I'm gunna go home and cool off" I say and he nods. I give him a hug before he gets out and I go home.

I get home and order food, I stay in my room and watch Netflix. I find it hard to fall asleep but eventually manage to get some sleep.

I stay in my room all day and only leave for food. I haven't talked to anyone all day, well I talked to Payton a little but not much. I'm sitting in bed watching tv when my phone rings, I half expected it to be Esther apologising but it was Kai.

"Hi" I say as I answer the phone

"Hey, so theirs a party tonight. Wanna go" he asks

"Not if Esther's going to be their" I say and he sighs

"She probably will, I'll keep her away from you and make sure that you don't drink if you want" he says, I consider it for a second

"No, I don't want to" I say
