tummy ache

Rainbows POV

"RAINBOW DASH!" My dad yelled

I ran downstairs, "yes sir"

"WHY IS THE CEREAL MISSING" He yelled

"I'm sorry dad... I only ate 10... I was hungry and-"

"I TOLD YOU THAT YOU COULDN'T EAT TODAY!" He yelled

"Well I can't go two weeks without eating! Mommy has been gone that whole time!" I yelled back

"DON'T TALK BACK TO ME!" He said and slapped me

"I-I'm sorry, please don't hurt me" I said

He dragged me to my room, yelling at me, "YOU'RE NOTHING BUT A PIECE OF DIRT! YOU DON'T DESERVE FOOD! YOU'RE A FREAK" He pulled me up by the back of my shirt, "NOW SAY YOU'RE NOTHING BUT A WORTHLESS FREAK"

"I'm nothing but a worthless freak!" I said

"Good" He said

"Please put me down dad" I said

"Also" He threw me on my bed, "you're grounded"

He left shutting and locking my door

After a few hours I heard a car?

I looked out the window and saw mom's car!

I opened my window "hi!" I yelled down

She waved,

She went to the door and I heard the door open.

I went to go down but it was locked.

"DASHIE!" I heard mom

I couldn't open the door

Mom kept calling my name,

I heard my stomach growl, I suddenly got dizzy, an couldn't stand. I slid down the wall about to pass out. I've been feeling like this all week and only made me feel a bit better when I ate the cereal. I felt like throwing up. I groaned.

I heard my door open,

"Baby?" It was mom

"Mommy" I mumbled

She kneeled in front of me, "baby, you look sick what happened"

"Daddy...wouldn't let me...eat...the whole time...you were gone..." I said my stomach growling again

"Let's getcha something" She said

"I feel dizzy..." I said

She picked me up and leaned me on her shoulder, I closed my eyes and curled up

"Shhhhh it's going to be ok" She said

I heard the door slam

She sat me on one of the chairs.

She got out some crackers, "here sweetie, see if you can eat those"  She gave them to me

"Thank you mommy" I said and started eating the few crackers

When I was done, my mom asked me, "how do you feel baby"

"I don't feel good" I said

"Does your tummy hurt" She asked

"Uh huh" I said, "I feel like I'm going to throwing up"

"C'mere" She picked me up and brought me to the bathroom

She put me down and I kneeled next to the toilet, I threw up once and started crying, mom sat next to me,

"You poor baby" She said

"Mommy" I said, "my tummy really, really hurts" I layed on her lap,

"You think you gotta go to the doctor" She asked rubbing my stomach

I shrugged, "you're a kids nurse," I curled up

"You want me to call Dr.West" She said

I nodded

"Alright, let's go call him" She picked me up and we went to the living room, we sat on the couch, she rubbed my tummy making me feel better,

She talked to him, for a few minutes

"Baby, we're going to have to go to the hospital, you need to get some nutrients in your tummy" She said too me.

I nodded,

"I'm going to go get your bag" She said "can you get your shoes on"

I nodded

We made it into the car, I layed in the backseat.

When we got to the hospital my mom brought me inside, she signed me in and brought me over to sit.

I sat laying against her, she rubbed my tummy making it feel better.

"Mommy" I said

"Ya baby" She said

"When you rub my tummy it feels better" I said

"That's great baby" She said and kissed my forehead.

She continued to rub my tummy till I got called to go back.

We went back and my mom explained what happened.

I was laying on a hospital bed, I was getting a IV in, mom was sitting next to me rubbing my tummy and holding my hand.

I felt the IV go in, and the bandage go over.

I soon relaxed when the nurse left.

Ya ya, I don't like the hospital, I actually don't mind my doctors office, just not needles

Hours later I was sent home, dad was back and I hid behind Mommy.

He was passed out on the couch,

"C'mon, I want you to go rest in bed for the bit" She said

I nodded

She picked me up and we went upstairs.

She layed me down in bed and I looked up at her, she kissed my forehead. She left the room and I fell asleep.

"Dashie, wake up" I heard

My eyes opened,

I saw soarin?

"Soar?" I said

"Hi dashie, I came over to see how you're doing" He said

"You didn't have to" I said

"I haven't seen you in two weeks," He said

I smiled

"How you feeling" He asked

"Icky" I said, "can you cuddle with me"

He smiled, and chuckled, "of course I would

I moved over

He layed next to me ontop of the blanket, he had his arms around me, rubbing my tummy

I smiled, my back was to his chest.

We stayed like that till I heard the door open, I tensed up.

"Shhhhh it's just your mom dashie" He said

I relaxed

"You kick ok" She asked

"Ya, she just wanted a cuddle" Soarin said

I heard my mom leave as I fell asleep once more.
