Colby knocked out late-evening time, and I wasn't too far behind him. He'd had a stressful day already, and it hadn't been much better for me what with God visiting and possibly hurting Xepher. I was nervous that she wouldn't be okay in the dungeon considering no one could visit her, but I hoped that Corey would have at least put Griffin next door.

Just as I was waking up, I felt the arm over my waist shifting. My eyes flicked open to see what was going on only to see Colby rolling onto his back rubbing both of his eyes with his fingers. I turned my head a little to kiss his arm, which made his head snap towards me. I smiled as he rolled back over the top of me, kissing my neck playfully.

"Morning to you too," I giggled, pushing him back. He leaned down to kiss my lips gently, just for a little while. I felt happy. Unbelievably happy. I felt like I was in heaven, which was kind of ironic. I never thought when I saw Colby that I'd feel the way I did about him, but I was lying there kissing him feeling like there was nothing else I wanted to do. It was weird to me, but I was crazy for the devil.

"COLBY!" a voice screamed from downstairs. He practically jumped up, staring at the door in wait for somebody else to scream. After a moment, he slipped out of the bed.

"Who do you think that is?" I asked as I followed him, rushing towards his door. He was right behind me dragging a shirt over his head.

"It sounded like Devyn." He moved passed me and opened the door, stepping onto the balcony. "What's wrong?"

"Corey's gone! I checked the dungeon and the prison but he isn't there."

"Are you sure he's gone?"

I edged out of the bedroom, trying not to make it obvious that I had came out of Colby's room first thing in the morning.

"One hundred percent."

I reached the balcony and peered down to find Devyn standing at the front door as if she was threatening to leave. Colby was thinking over his options whilst Jake paced next to the throne.

"We're-" Colby was cut off when the front door flung open sending Devyn into the far wall. Aryia caught her as quickly as he could, but she banged her head making blood appear and begin to trickle down her face. Sam stood on the front porch looking both angry and sorrowful.

"I've been sent down by God," he said firmly. "We've taken one of your soldiers until you find a queen. We've just about had enough up there, and it's time there's some real management going on down here."

My heart dropped to my stomach. Colby had been talking about making me the queen, and if he had to get a queen as soon as, then I was going to be the first choice.

"You sound just like your dad," Colby snapped.

"Not my problem. Corey is staying in heaven until you find a girl to put on the throne beside you." Sam's wings spread. It looked like he was genuinely sorry as he flapped them and in one swoop, propelled himself into the air. Colby punched the railing on the balcony making me reach over and take both of his hands so he wouldn't do it again. I shook my head at him.

"We can go and get him. They won't kill him," I assured gently.

"You don't know that," he growled back, trying to pull his hand away. I didn't let him. "Ari-"

"It's wait and have a successful trip, or give them what they want. You don't have a queen, so you only have one option." The look in his eye when I said that seemed almost hurt. But then it turned determined as he nodded and looked over the balcony.

"Mike, get the others out of the dungeon and get them training. Same goes for everyone else. We're going to get Corey back before they decide he's useless." He lowered his voice when he turned to me. "You're coming with me."
