Third Person
Everybody in the room turned, confused toward the Fate sitting on the throne still, who had become a much more timid-looking woman. She stood from the chair, in doing so becoming that of a small demon girl with an ability to shape shift. Devyn.

Angel guards - the few that were left - rushed to apprehend her as the real Fate stopped halfway across the room. Ari dropped Sam, leaving him on the floor as she walked to stand by Fate's side.

"Fate... what are you doing?" God asked nervously, standing from his throne as if that meant anything anymore. The most important woman in his life was standing up to him, and he had no way of combatting it.

"Honey, you know what I'm doing. He's my son, I can't let you kill him. I raised my boy to be good, but he was born bad. That doesn't mean he can't be good now, and not only because of me, or you, or Sam. When he cares for something, he will fight for it. He will do anything he has to for that thing, or that girl, to stay alive.

"You think he's just some heartless monster because he is the king of hell but you made him that way, God. You cast him out despite how much I begged you not to. Well, Arianna isn't one to beg, and I'm standing by her on this one. I am not going to allow you to kill off my own flesh and blood just because your biased views see him as evil."

For Colby, staring at the only women he had ever cared about standing together against his biggest enemy, everything changed. He felt more love for the both of them than he ever had in his entire life, and he wanted to run over and stand by their side.

It seemed, for a hot second, like God was going to give in to the demands of his wife. It seemed like he had listened to a word she had said and processed it... but he was too ground into his own head to do that; too stubborn to see that what he was doing was wrong. And so, he made the move towards Colby, the devil and the king of hell, with a very big sword in his hand. His long strides allowed him to move faster than almost anyone could react.

Almost anyone.

With everybody but Arianna Black on the devil's side being held back by obnoxious, pride-filled angels, she was the only one who could have saved Colby from the certain death he faced if that sword came even close to him. She didn't know the magnitude of the situation, but her love got to her head and completely clouded her judgement.

In one swift movement, she drew the sword from Fate's hip and ran. She only stopped when she was in the way of the blade coming down towards her boyfriend. The pieces of metal collided with a loud screech and sparks seemed to fly everywhere. She was battling a god; a human was battling a god. And yet, he wasn't defeating her. By no means was she winning but the two got trapped in a power struggle that had her leaned slightly backwards.

Her will to save her king, her boyfriend, and the man she loved was just too strong, however, as she pushed harder and harder and harder against God's sword until she felt him faltering. She was fighting back more than anyone else ever could.

The sparks flying from the pieces of metal seemed to increase, hitting the ground and the bubble Katrina had created to stop the devil from escaping his little corner. But they were unrealistically abundant. As Arianna pushed harder, the sparks seemed to turn more into a fire. In a tornado-like fashion, they swirled around Arianna's head until, as they started to move down the rest of her body, they left changes.

A transformation made in fire and desperation.

Her brown hair turned red at the tips. Her eyes turned black. Her sword turned black with grooves and red gems lining the blade. Her skin got tanner. And most of all - the most important factor - when the firey circle passed her upper back, a pair of huge black feathery wings sprung out. And they spread to their full width as a full-blown threat. Finally, at that moment, she had overpowered God.
