"I will never spare the Pandavas," Duryodhan began walking like a madman in his chamber.

"Calm down, my child," Shakuni said as he saw Karn coming towards their chamber

"May I come in?" Karna asked and he saw Duryodhan in his usual angry young man form.

"Dear Friend! We will have to defeat the Pandavas. They will be arriving at Hastinapur at any time. If pitamahah Bhishma comes to know about them being alive, then I would not be the crown prince of Hastinapur," Duryodhan said.

Karna looked at Shakuni with the corner of his eye.

"My child, get yourself crowned before he comes to know about their existence," Shakuni giggled and turned to Angraaj Karna

"Remember, that he saved you from humiliation," Shakuni said and expected an answer from him.

"Will you be ready to wage a war against the Pandavas, dear friend?" Angraaj asked Duryodhan

"Of course, I will be ever ready," Duryodhan said

"Fine, then I will stand by you," Angraaj said

"Why, Angraaj? Why? Why do you want destruction? My child, get yourself crowned as the king of Hastinapur," Shakuni smiled again

"Mamashree, do you love Friend Duryodhan?" Karna asked suddenly

"Of course! What kind of question is that?" Shakuni asked trying to figure out what was going in the sutputra's mind.

"Do you like your Empire Gandhar or your sister's son?" Karna asked

Shakuni frowned and said

"Of course I love my nephew more than anything else in this world," Shakuni said

Duryodhan was trying to figure out what his friend was thinking about.

"Do you love your sons more or your nephews?" Angraaj Karn asked shocking Gandhar Raj.

-----------------------------------

Krishna began laughing suddenly

"What happened, Aarya?" Rukmini asked

"Well, it seems like someone is more intelligent than Mama Shree Shakuni," Krishna licked the butter Rukmini gave him,

----------------------------------

Shakuni was perplexed at this question. To impress Duryodhan, he said

"I love my nephews more than my sons," Shakuni said.

"Why are you asking such questions, dear friend?" Duryodhan asked

Angraaj Karna smiled at Shakuni,

"Then it would be great if you shower your love on my friend by making him the King of Gandhar," Karna said and continued

"If he becomes the King Of Gandhar, he can easily wage a war against Hastinapur and the get the throne because he has skills and I will support him," Angraaj Karna said,

Shakuni was dumbfounded,

"No one can defeat pitamahah Bhishma," he said

"Well, we know that Mahamahim Bhishm has to obey the orders of the King, I am sure Maharaj Dridhrashtr would never want his son to wage a war, which means, he would surrender," Karna said observing Shakuni's expressions.

Shakuni began to grow pale.

"The throne belongs to my sons," He said

"But you love friend Duryodhan more than your sons, right Gandhar Raj?"

"Nothing can match fatherly love, can it? Why are you pulling my leg Angraaj?" Shakuni tried to laugh it off,

"Of course, nothing can match fatherly love, Gandhar Raj, so I have an idea, why don't you go back to Gandhar Rajya to shower your fatherly love on your sons?" Angraaj asked

"Never, I have promised to make Duryodhan the King of Hastinapur," Shakuni said as he wiped off the pearls of sweat from his face.

"Then make him the King of Gandhar for a short period till he becomes the King of Hastinapur," Karna crossed his arms over his chest,

"No... " Shakuni muttered,

"Why Gandhar Raj, don't you trust your Nephew?"

Angraaj asked him

"Sutputra! who are you to ask me such questions?" Shakuni barked at Karna

"Mama Shree, Mitra Karn is just trying to pull your leg," Duryodhan said and signalled a no to Karna. Karna nodded and remained silent. After a few minutes of discussion, everyone retired to their chambers.

"Damn, That sutputra has such audacity! He is too intelligent and no one can win him in a debate, he is just like that stupid trickster Vasudev Krishna," Shakuni said as he looked at the dice made out of his father's bones.
