"He's the weirdest man I have seen in my life..." Draupadi said as she walked over the hard rocks

"Why?" Arjun asked

"No one knows on which side he is in....Our side or Duryodhan's side..." Draupadi panted pausing with the support of a tree

"Jyesth Bratha has warned us not to reveal our identities in our Agyatvas...till then, we have to be in a safe place. I am going to penance upon Lord Shiva to gain the Pashupathasthra." Arjun said

"He doesn't like it when you call him your jyesth bratha, Arya" Draupadi rolled her eyes

"I know, I have faith that he will accept me someday as his younger brother,"

"Not only you, even us..." Yudhistir said

"I am still repenting for calling him a..."

"Sh..." Arjun stopped Bhim

"Look , they must be the spies sent by Mamashree Shakuni, don't talk about Jyesth Bratha in front of them," Arjun warned Bhim

Yudhistir, Nakul and Sahadev too got aware of their prescence and silently walked into the deep forests.

"Mata will be safe there.." Nakul whisphered to Sahadev as they were out of sight of the spies

"VIJAYADHARI!!!" a voice thundered across the Angdesh. There were signs of an approaching thunderstorm.

Karna reached the Palace gates to hear a familiar voice. Karna was equally shocked and surprised to see his Guru Shri Parashuram standing in front of the Palace of Angdesh. Karna immediately fell at his feet without thinking

"You lied to me again that you are a sutputr...in fact you are a born Kshatriya!" Sage Parashuram shouted

"I did not know I was a Kshatriya, Gurudev...I am telling you the truth..." Karna cried looking into his Gurudev's eyes

The angry expression of Sage Parashuram turned into a calm and gentle one.

"I know, my son. I know, because you are the only one who has the guts to look into my eyes," Guru Parashuram smiled and at the same time, Krishna smiled.

"Welcome to Angdesh, Gurudev," Karna welcomed his Guru into the Palace.

Kunti greeted the sage and Karna washed his feet with due respect.

"So...what have you done with the lessons I taught you?" Guru asked Karna

Karna was surprised by his Guru's question. He had done his best to bring a change in people's lives. His Guru's question had some inner meaning which he was unable to figure out. He honestly said

"I have done my best to change people's lives..." Karna said

Parashuram glared at Karna

"Really?...Is this your best or is this my failure?" Parashuram questioned

"No Gurudev!...I...I..did..." Karna stopped for a few moments of introspection. A few words of his Guru were enough to make him realize his mistakes.

"I have done a little bit..." Karna said and Parashuram smiled

"I have only tried to change the lives of people of Angdesh for better....I have not tried to change the lives of people of the whole Aaryavrat..." Karna said

"I will talk to all the other Kings..." Karna was cut in between

"Are you going to waste your time in talking to other foolish Kings who will disrespect you as a sutputra?" Sage Parashuram questioned his disciple

"Then what shall I..." Karna was cut in between

"DIGVIJAY YATRA" Parashuram said and continued

"Show everyone your valour...."

Karna bowed down and touched his Guru's feet

"Many more happy returns of the day, Suryaputr Karn. Vijaye Bhava" Lord Parashuram blessed him

"I give you a boon that each and every astra you use will distinguish you from my other students like Bhishm and Dron. They will make you special. Each and every arrow of yours will be unique and magnificent" Guru Parashuram said and left the Palace.

Kunti was overwhelmed with joy when she saw her son getting boon from his Guru. She wholeheartedly blessed her son and wished that he should take the side of the Pandavas.

A few days later,

Arjun, Nakul, Sahadev, and Bheem had begun their penance. Yudhistir and Draupadi regularly fed the Brahmins who reached their hut.

As Draupadi placed the cooked food on a Brahmin's plate, she overheard a conversation among two brahmins

"Do you know! Angraaj Karn is showing immense valour in his Digvijay Yatra. I am sure he will defeat all the Kings of Aaryavrat.."

Draupadi and Yudhistir were dumbfounded hearing this,

"Is he doing such things for that Duryodhan!" Draupadi frowned and asked Yudhistir after the Brahmins had left.

"I don't know..." Yudhistir said and confirmed that there were no spies around.

"Bratha told that he would help getting justice for you.."

"I know, Arya...But why is Aryaputr Karn doing Digvijay Yatra? Is he doing it for us or for prince Duryodhan?" Draupadi worriedly asked

"Draupadi, he is your husband too....and our brother..." Yudhistir cried

"To make sure he comes to our side, I have a good plan," Nakul cried as Sahadev and he came towards the hut

"Arya!" Draupadi cried

"Yes...I have a plan...We have successfully finished our penance and got the boon to heal any wound with our medicine. Since the Ashwini Kumars are our fathers, they granted us the boon quickly," Sahadev chirped

"What plan do you have to ensure that bratha shree stays on our side," Sahadev asked Nakul

"Bratha is confused which side he should be in...to help him out, we have to ask a dhaan from him."

Others looked at each other confused

"We have to ask Bratha to be on our side as Alms...it is his Dharm of not letting anyone go empty handed and that is why he is known as Danveer Karn. I am sure he will not let us go empty handed and agree to give us our alms we demand for," Nakul cried

"I hope this doesn't upset our Jyesth...I do not want to upset him at any cost," Yudhistir said

"Jyesth, will you let him take Adharm's side? No I will not. He has defeated many kings in his Digvijay Yatra....all the Kings will be scared if bratha Karn is against them and will automatically take Dharm's side. Jyesth is actually confused which side he should take, we will help him out before Duryodhan gets his promise for anything. We will ask his support as alms, and even bratha Duryodhan knows that Angraaj Karn never disappoints anyone," Nakul said and everyone in the hut agreed.

Krishna smiled and muttered

"Angraaj Karn, your confusion is going to be cleared soon,"
