While Karna was celebrating his birthday, his brothers and Panchali reached Angdesh and wished him.

"Brother ! We have to leave for vanvaas," Arjun told Karn

Karna rolled his eyes with a deadpan expression in his face. He looked at Kunti who was eagerly expecting something from him.

"I promise I will not let Friend Duryodhan or Mamashree Shakuni be an obstacle for the vanvaas and agyatvaas," Karna said as he saw his brothers' faces.

"Thank you for coming and Arjun," Karna cried

"Yes, Jyesth.."Arjun was cut in between

"Do not forget to hide your Gandiv when you do your Agyatvas," Karna muttered and turned to Draupadi

Draupadi said "I have sent my sons to Panchal," expecting that Karn would offer her sons to stay in Angdesh

"Your sons will be safe in Panchal," Karna cried as she nodded

Kunti was still disturbed at Karna's indifferent attitude towards her other sons and Panchali. Though Panchali and Karn were married, they behaved like strangers.

"Why can't you take care of Draupad's children, you are like a father to them...?" Kunti asked

"Of course I can. That means, friend Duryodhan is also like a father to them. He regularly comes here....so..." Karna was cut in between

"I got it ! My sons will be safe in Panchal," Draupadi said with a sense of gratitude. She never thought of the consequences before blaming Karna in her mind. She always thought him as a hard- hearted , selfish, and an arrogant man. But Karna managed to prove every time that she was wrong.

"You are...intelligent, Arya," Draupadi said

"Not intelligent but experienced.I have spent many years of my life on this earth. You just emerged from fire a few years ago. So it is natural for you to blame and curse me in your mind before knowing the whole truth. I can understand." Karna said seriously

Draupadi's eyes widened at Karna's words

"How did he know?" She thought

"And when you do your Agyatvas, try to change your personal characteristics. Don't be as foolish as you were when you came to Angdesh a few days ago," Karna cried

"You knew!" Nakul said

"Of course! That is why I asked you to stay in my Palace. Why would a king ask common people to stay in his palace?" Karna gave a sly smile .

"Will my hair get justice Angraaj? Will I get justice..." Draupadi suddenly asked

"...Arya?"

"Will you forgive him if he falls at your feet?" Karna asked

"I may...but Aryaputr Bhim's pratigya is to finish them off," Draupadi said

"It depends on you...will you forgive them if they all fall at your feet?" Karna questioned

Draupadi looked down at the earth with teary eyes. The way Dushasan painfully pulled her, pushed her in front of everyone, the way she ran around asking for help the way she begged for mercy, the way she broke down and how the anger inside her began crying aloud.

"If you want me to forgive them, I will..." Draupadi said shocking the Pandavas

Karna frowned at her

"Why?" He asked

"Because you saved me from the humiliation. It is up to you to decide whether to punish them for their deeds or forgive them," Draupadi said in a teary voice

Karna stood still for a few moments. He became angry with guru Dron, King Dridhrashtr and Mahamahim Bhishm.

"Your feet will be washed with their tears....or your hair will be washed with their blood.....I am sure of it..." Karna said determined

Draupadi looked at Karna suddenly

"You don't want me to forgive them?" She asked

"It is up to you. I believe in Karma. If one does a sin, one has to get the punishment no matter what," Karna said and continued

"In Angdesh, if a man misbehaves with a woman , the victim has the rights to choose the punishment for the criminal. If the victim forgives the crime, the King will punish the criminal so that other people don't take advantage of the forgiving nature of victims..."

Krishna smiled at Karna who was burning with anger at Mahamahim Bhishm.

"Remember that I am Duryodhan's friend too. Take care when you do your Agyatavas . I might tell him the truth if I find anything about you," Karna warned the Pandavas

"But why, brother?" Yudhistir

"I have to be loyal to him....I don't wish to lie to him....accept this as a challenge," Karna said as Yudhistir nodded

Pandavas touched Karna's feet and sought his blessings. The five men along with their wife walked towards the forest to complete their thirteen year exile. Kunti closed her eyes sadly and Karna side hugged her

"Everything will be fine," Karna said and she smiled back.
