Y/N'S POV

The rain didn't seem like it was going to stop anytime soon.

Let's just run. My place isn't that far away.

"Are you sure?" My tone was doubtful as I turned to Jin who was already in the process of removing his jacket.

"Yes," He grinned, handing me the jacket. "You can cover yourself up with this. And then if you do this-" He held his bag between his hands, positioning it in a way that it covered his head completely. "-the rain won't be that much of a bother."

I accepted the jacket hesitantly, placing it on top of my head just like he's instructed. The jacket felt just as expensive as it looked and I couldn't help but sigh softly as I caressed it's soft fabric, breathing in the mellow scent of Jin's cologne.

Jin stood in front of me, smiling slightly, his eyes twinkling with excitement as he glanced outside, extending a hand towards the rain to let the water collect into his palm.

Somehow, I felt, that even with him taking all measures to avoid the rain, he wasn't someone who'd mind getting drenched.

"Let's go?" I asked him, holding my bag up as well.

As he turned towards me, I couldn't help but admire the way his arms looked with the water from his palm running down his skin, soaking his pristine white shirt that he'd pushed up to just beneath his elbows.

With his jacket off, I could clearly see how neatly his shirt was tucked into his jeans, emphasising his broad shoulders and tiny waist. Every detail about his appearance was seamless. From the little droplets of water splattered across his clothes, to the slightly playful smile that played on his lips, everything seemed like an irresistible invitation.

"Of course, we should." He nodded, his eyes fixed on me. "I hope you're ready to run through some muddy streets. It might be over quickly but it's isn't exactly going to be the best of feelings."

I laughed as he scrunched up his nose. "It's okay. I don't mind as long as I'm not the only one getting rained upon."

He grinned and held out his hand for me to grab, which I did. His hand was warm despite the chilly weather and I enjoyed the feeling of my fingers snugly slipping between his.

A giggle escaped my lips as we stepped onto the straight, the rain immediately pattering against our backpacks.

Even with the rain coming down so hard, the streets were packed with vehicles and I couldn't help but laugh as we zigzagged through the sidewalks and occasionally some vehicles before falling into an easy walk near his neighbourhood.

I didn't know where Jin lived, I had never bothered to pry but from what I'd heard, he lived in a really posh neighbourhood and was just a spoilt brat, living off his parents' money. But as Jin led me to quite an average looking apartment, I realised that people weren't always what they were made to be.

At school, Jin's style, his mannerism, the way he behaved, all of that depicted a very elegant and proper upbringing.

Even the way he sat and the way he interacted with other people was calm...composed, like he had been brought up to treat people in a certain way, like his mysterious personality that always made him stand out was something so deep rooted into him that you couldn't separate the two.

But I couldn't really see him as the cold, aloof rich brat anymore.

Not after seeing how easily he'd offered his jacket to me just so I wouldn't get wet and how he'd smiled so brightly while running through the rain with me.
