Once again I round the corner, and was pulled in to the dark closet. Before I could say anything, I noticed that we suddenly appeared in front of the Slytherin entrance.

"You apparated? That could get us expelled!", I angrily whispered.

He began to laugh as the entrance opened. "Princess, all of this could get us expelled."

I sighed realizing that he was right. This was a dumb plan.

I couldn't help, but feel like I was letting Dumbledore down by doing this. He would be so disappointed.

I follow him up to his room. Since he was the Slytherin Prince, he had his own room.

I walked in to his room, taking in all of the green. I felt almost like I belonged in this room. I felt safe.

He was looking at me, but I didn't notice. "It's beautiful, isn't it?," he said.

I stopped looking around, and looked at him. "It is."

He half smiled walking to his bed. He then sat on it, while I sat on his desk chair. "This all could have been yours too."

I looked at him, expecting this to be a rude remark, but he gestured towards the Slytherin princess room across from his.

I couldn't help but imagine how different my life would have been if I was put into the Slytherin house. Not even Pansy herself was considered the Slytherin Princess. I would have probably been the one occupying the room.

Pansy obviously had a thing for Draco, but has proved several times that he wants nothing to do with her.

Draco smiled, almost reading her thoughts. He too wished that Y/n was occupying that room. He had had a crush on Y/n since the first time they met on the train. He could tell that the timid girl would be a great witch, and it didn't help that she was undeniably beautiful. Snapping out of his thoughts, he said, "My homework is over there."

I snapped out of mine  too, and turned the chair around to look at the papers. Draco pulled out a book, pretending to read, but he couldn't help sneaking little glimpses at Y/n.

Draco's homework was very easy. I knew that he probably did all of his hard homework so that I didn't have to. Maybe I  was wrong though? Did Draco just invite me here to be company, or was tonight really just easy?

After she had finished his homework, they talked all night. He asked her things like how was growing up with Dumbledore, and what was her favorite color. She asked things similar to that. They spent the whole night laughing, teasing, and getting to know each other. I was now sitting across from Draco on his bed.

At one moment, he stopped laughing. A serious expression had came over his face. "Why do you have to hide who you are? A Slytherin."

I couldn't tell him the whole story, so I just told him half of the truth. "Dumbledore, when he adopted me, hated that I was orphaned because of such a evil action. So, he hid me in Hufflepuff, vowing to always protect me from harm's way." I paused. "Even though he isn't my biological parent, he's been all I've ever needed or wanted. I can't let him down. Not after everything he has done for me."

Draco, half smiled at me, "That's one of the main characteristics of a Slytherin. Willing to do anything for our friends." He paused before continuing, "And for the ones we love."

We both met eye contact, and started to lean in. I felt his breath across my face.

We both jumped away from each other when a small chirping noise sounded from the clock on his wall.

Seeing that it had reached midnight, Draco snuck me back to my room. He once again used apparition.

With Draco now gone, I laid my head down on my pillow. The girls were asleep, so no one saw me sneak in. When I was about to fall asleep, I  couldn't help but wonder, what if Draco wasn't who I thought he was?

There was only two things that I did know for sure. One, I wanted to see Draco again. Two, I knew that wherever these late night shenanigans lead, we would have to keep it a secret. I sighed, knowing that I had to keep yet another secret, but this one made me happy.
