It had been a few days since I had spoken to Draco or Cedric. I couldn't look at Draco. I couldn't trust myself to no go back to him. I could never hate Cedric, but I knew that I would put all of the blame on him, if I spoke to him. It wasn't his fault, but I still would.

I don't go to the Great Hall anymore. Hermione has been bringing some food. I think the whole school knows about Draco and I now. Cedric never would have reacted the ways he did, if I wasn't with Draco, and everyone knew that.

Harry and Ron were upset too, but Hermione told me that they'll eventually get over it. I decided to trust her, and to not worry about it.

Cedric tried talking to me a few times, but I think he gets that I need space for a while. I miss him, and Draco so much.

I round the corner, I'm walking by myself to my last class, which again was Snape's, when I meet eye contact with Draco. I felt the tears start to prick my eyes again, so I looked away. I could feel him watching me walk to my seat. I had been sitting by Hermione the last few days.

I sat my books on the desk. I stopped when the intercom screeched on. It was rarely used. Dumbledore's voice came over the speaker," Wizards and witches, please go to the Great Hall." He paused, before ending the call. "Immediately."

I walk alongside the golden trio. Hermione was right, the boys had gotten over the Draco situation. We walk in to the Great Hall. I sit at the Hufflepuff table, and they sit at the Gryffindor table.

I watch as Dumbledore, with a smile, looks at every table. Finally, he claps his hands together. "Students, we have wonderful news for all of you. We have decided to once again, throw a ball."

A series of conversations start, but Y/n keeps her eyes on Dumbledore. She doesn't want to meet Draco's.

" Silence!", he cheerfully shouts, making everyone do as he says. We will host it in two days. On a Saturday, all classes will be dismissed that day. There will be several groups each day that can go to the lovely town to purchase what they shall need for it. Thank you!", he walks from the stage, letting the conversation start once more. Everyone was so excited, but I was dreading it.

I felt a tap on my shoulder, and looked up to see Harry smiling down at me.

I smile," Hello, Harry!"

He smiled back, "Hello, Y/n!" He paused, looking over at Ron before continuing. I knew what he was going to say, but I drifted off. I looked over to those beautiful, grey eyes. He was looking at me, waiting to hear my answer. I heard a cough, and look over to meet Cedric's eyes. He too was waiting to hear what I said, but I looked back toward Draco.

I pictured us dancing together, not hiding our love, but I can't do that.

"Y/n?", I hear Harry say. He must have noticed that I drifted off.

Looking back at him, I say, "I'm sorry, what?"

He puts his arm around his head again. He must do that when he's nervous. He has the right to be nervous too. Two boys were now glaring at him.

He gulps," Y/n, can I take you to the ball?"

I smile, but deep down, I wish I could go with Draco. "Yes, Harry."

He smiles, before he leaves, he tells me that Hermione and Ginny should be over my way any second.

While I wait I look around for Draco or Cedric, but both are gone. I sigh, watching the two girls come over as promised.
