It had now been a few weeks of me going to Draco's room every night. By now, I knew that I liked Draco. He showed me that he was nothing like I imagined him to be.

I couldn't help but feel safe around Draco, or that I was myself around him. He knew almost everything about me, and I knew almost everything about him.

Every night, I would hurriedly eat, and then rush to his room. It had been the highlight of my day for weeks now. I kept thinking about the nights that I would lay on his shoulder while he would tell me all of the crazy things he has seen.

Everyone knew that Draco's father was once a death eater, so with the talk of Voldemort getting more powerful, I started to worry for Draco. He knew this and told me that I was annoyingly cute when I did. I decided to take it as a compliment.

Cedric and I were walking down the hall to one of our classes, we always walked together. Cedric was talking to me about something his parents sent him, but I wasn't listening. I had caught sight of Draco's blonde hair. He sneakingly turned around, giving me a small wink. I giggled.

Cedric looked down at me, and looked where I was looking. This time, he noticed that I was laughing at Draco. Not in the ways that I have in the past.

He poked me in the arm, making me turn around. I knew that he saw everything, when I saw his expression. Draco saw this too, and was heading towards us, fighting through the crowds of wizards and witches.

"Why were you just looking at him like that?," Cedric asked, obviously confused and upset.

"I-", I saw Draco had reached us, making Cedric turn his attention to him. They both made direct eye contact; it seemed like they weren't blinking.

When Draco saw how mad Cedric was becoming, he instinctively stepped a little bit in front of me. The hallway was nearly empty now, none of the wizards or witches seemed to notice us.

Cedric, noticing that Draco stepped in front of me, just became angrier. "Y/n, what is going on?" Cedric can tell if I'm lying.

I looked at Draco, not knowing what to say. Cedric didn't know that I was supposed to be a Slytherin, so I couldn't tell him that part. Draco knew that too, so he said the only thing that he could say, "We've been secretly dating."

Though this too wasn't true, it was the only thing we could say at that time.

Cedric looked at me with questionable eyes. When I didn't respond, he believed Draco.

He took a step towards me, which just made Draco cover me more. Cedric seeing this, stopped moving towards me. " Why didn't you tell me, Y/n? You tell me everything. I'm your best friend, and you're mine, I'm supposed to know these things."

I saw Draco roll his eyes at Cedric. He probably thought that this was ridiculous. "Maybe because you would have acted like this.", Draco stated. I got in front of Draco before Cedric could punch him. Seeing me there, he stopped.

"He's right, Cedric. I was scared of how you and the trio would react."

Cedric seemed to calm down some seeing just me right now. "I'm really sorry, Ced."

I felt Draco tense when I used Cedric's nickname. Was he jealous?

Sighing, Cedric looked down at me," No, Y/n, I'm sorry that you felt like you couldn't come to me. That's not how I want you to feel."

I heard Draco scoff behind me, so I lightly elbowed him in the stomach.

"Could you keep this a secret?", I looked up at Cedric, pleadingly.

Almost like he melted into butter, he agreed. I knew that I could always trust him. I wanted to tell him the truth, so bad, but it would only be worse for him.

Hearing the second bell go off, signalling that we were late to class. Cedric said, "Come on, Y/n. We're late."

Looking back at Draco, I whispered "Tonight."

He looked back at me, with a smile, and said, "Tonight."
