We were just sitting on the roof and watching the stars. She was smoking her cigarette and made smoke rings with her mouth. The silence was comfortable between us. In the background, you could hear the slight sound of the city. Her eyes were so bright even in the darkness. I was chewing on my strawberry candies while watching her. Started to hum a melody, then she looked at me and smiled lightly. Still no words. We were just looking into each other's eyes and we knew what the other thought.
