I opened my eyes to find myself in a sitting position on the floor with Izuru next to me. His hands were on my stomach and back.

"Don't move Tsuki-san, I'm almost done healing you," he said. A green aura was emitting from his palms, a type of healing kido if I had to guess.

"Since it's only a small cut I'm able to mend the skin together. You're lucky that whatever stabbed you missed your vital organs," he said.

I looked down at my stomach when Izuru was finished, the wound completely healed. Still, I couldn't help but think of Gin's words to me and the feeling of my hand in his.

I stood back onto my feet as Izuru did the same. "What're you doing here Kira-san?"

By the look on his face, I could already tell something was wrong.

"Captain Ichimaru sent me here to check on you after I left Central forty-six."

I tensed at his words, his eyes averting from mine. "You already know don't you Tsuki-san? Captain Ichimaru betrayed Soul Society."

I found myself wanting to dismiss Izuru's words as lies but I knew that what he said was true, making me clench my fists.

How could he do this? I thought that he was different. But in the end, I got closer and closer until he had me in his jaws, no mercy to be found when he bit down on my defenseless soul.

"Where is he!" I demanded.

"He should be at the Sokyoku hill where Rukia's execution is being held. If you happen to see Captain Hitsugaya though I wouldn't speak to him if I were you."

I was about to walk out the door with my sheathed zanpakutou when he said Captain Hitsugaya's name.

"Why's that?" I said, turning back to him.

He shifted on his feet. "Aizen tried to kill Momo."

I felt my breath catch in my throat, the color draining from my face.

"Ai-Aizen is alive?"

Izuru nodded and I felt myself beginning to break.

Gin must've known this whole time. All he did was use me.

I gritted my teeth, trying to prevent tears from forming in my eyes.

"Izuru, take me to Sokyoku hill."

Izuru was hesitant at first but the pain in my eyes was enough to tell him that I would stop at nothing to get there.

We used shunpo to make our way to the top of the hill where Rukia's execution was being held for disobeying a law of Soul Society. Transferring her powers to a human to be exact.

The whole way there I couldn't help but think how much of an idiot I was for trusting Gin.

I never should have thought he was different.

Izuru and I ran up the side of Sokyoku hill and halfway up a strong spiritual pressure froze me. Izuru seemed to have been affected the same way.

"We have to hurry," I said, regaining my composure.

By the time we got there, it was already too late.

Sousuke Aizen was alive and well, staring down at an orange-haired teen laying in a bloody mess on the ground that looked to be the ryoka kid, Kurosaki Ichigo.

Gin had a wide smirk on his face while he made a group of the ryoka fall before him from his strong spiritual pressure.

Aizen smirked for his own victory, heading over to Rukia who was already helpless on the ground. He lifted her up by a red collar around her neck.
