"What are you doing here?" I sniffled as Noah barged into my apartment.
"Well you weren't answering my texts or phone calls and it went straight to voicemail. I got worried. Are you okay?" He pulled me into a hug. "Whats wrong?"
"I don't know." I let out a tired sigh. I've been crying all day.
"Just tell me." He took a seat on the couch and pulled me in.
"Its stupid." I laughed to myself as i used the sleeve of my sweater to wipe my tears.
"Verona." He said in a worried voice.
"Ever since we posted those pictures of us.... i've been getting way more hate. And its actually getting to me." I tossed him my phone so he could see the notifications on my instagram.
"I hate that everyone is comparing me to Abby. The clubhouse is bashing me making me look like a home wrecker. And people just dont want us together." I looked him in the eyes.
"Who cares what other people think? I love you. You love me. Thats all that matters bebe."
"Well it matters to me Noah." I let out a sigh. "We will never be able to be fully happy when there are people praying on our downfall." I cried even more.
"So what can I do to fix it?" His voice changed real quick.
I could hear the tremble.
"I don't know."
"Don't say break up because i never even got to pop the question." His legs started to shake.
"I dont wanna end what we have." I shook my head. "I just don't know how long i can take this hate." I rested my head on his shoulder.
"The only way we can stay strong is if we only focus on our happiness. We cant worry about what others say. Cause we won't last." He shrugged.
"Well then i guess we're just not gonna last." I pouted as i stood up.
"Verona." He reached for my hand. "Dont be like that."
"Noah its easy to say ignore the haters. But I'm the only one getting the hate."
"I'll figure something out I promise." He pulled me back next to him.
