You begin to wake up, blinking slowly and looking in a mirror that was probably placed right in front of you by one of those people. You look at your face, a white beak, as white as pure snow and black details marked onto it, sewn into your once, beautiful face. You opened your mouth, and the bottom of your lip was only shown, your top lip hurting from the stitches, you quickly close your mouth, your going to have to get used to eating with a little pain.

You continue to your wings, black as the night sky, with a little white on the tips. They truly were beautiful, but you didn't eat any of this. Your hands were also bird claws, five fingers each, and feathers all over your arms and torso. Your legs were normal for some reason, but you don't know why, maybe unfinished? You looked closer at the feathers, the mirror makes them seem more than usual, but it turns out, it's your arm and bottom torso, or below your belly button, that's covered in feathers, like you can just throw a shirt on and not have to worry about anything.

You feel someone unstrap you and you looked behind you, it was the oldest Highblood. He was blindfolded, being a gentleman and not looking at you half naked. You smiled and took a step off of the platform, no going closer to the mirror and looking at your eyes, now a blood red, like the humans. You return looking at the oldest Highblood. He held his arms out, with a brown robe that can automatically come on and off from the back, sorta like a hospital outfit, but zip up. You threw it on and you kindly allowed him to remove the blindfold. He did so, and helped you zip up your robe. Your eyes teared again, tears now rolling down your cheeks. He had a board with him and wrote:
>"What's wrong?"<
"I-I don't like this."
>"I know."<
"T-Then why didn't you stop them?"
>"I would've had to do the same thing as well."< He hugged you, pulling the robe over your face and leading you back to the main throne room.
