Russetfur's POV

Some moons have past again and a lot has happened.

Brokentail, Tangleburr and Deerstep have become full warriors and Runningnose has become a full medicine cat.

Featherstorm is expecting Blizzardwing's kits.

Blackfoot has a new apprentice, Tallpaw.

Darkpaw was apprenticed to Scorchwind.

Raggedstar has proven to be a great leader for ShadowClan.

Rowanberry has had her kits and they were already apprentices.

Though Brokentail became Stumpypaw's mentor. And Cinderpaw was Fernshade's apprentice.

Foxheart had died from a rat attack and Raggedstar made Cloudpelt deputy.

But he died from a WindClan patrol. And Brokentail was now deputy.

Russetfur laid outside the Warriors den, and she sighed.

Hollyflower walked up to her, "What's wrong Russetfur?" She asked.

"I don't know, lately I've been feeling tired, and I've been more hungry" she sighed.

Hollyflower's eyes sparkled, "Go to Yellowfang."

Russetfur frowned but got to her paws and walked over to Yellowfang.

"Yellowfang?"

"Yes what is it?" She said.

"Lately I've been feeling tired, and I've been more hungry" Russetfur explained.

Yellowfang nodded, "Lay down please?"

Russetfur did so and Yellowfang put her paw on her belly.

Russetfur gasped at the size of her belly, it was big.

Yellowfang straightened and smiled.

"Congraulations Russetfur, Your expecting kits."

"What!?" She gasped.

"You and Blackfoot are going to have kits" Yellowfang purred.

I'm going to be a mother...

"Uh thank you Yellowfang" she said and walked out.

Hollyflower was waiting outside, "So when will you tell Blackfoot?"

Russetfur stared at her, "You knew?!"

"I had those same thing happen while I was expecting."

Russetfur nodded, "Where's Blackfoot?"

Hollyflower grinned, "about to go on a patrol, better go catch him."

Russetfur quickly ran towards where Blackfoot, Ashheart, Nettlespot and Brokentail were leaving.

"Blackfoot?!" She called out.

He turned around and smiled at her, "Hey Russetfur."

"I need to talk to you" she said.

Nettlespot looked at her closely then smiled, "Catch up with us after" she said.

Russetfur watched Blackfoot turn to her, "What is it?"

She started to shake, she didn't know how to tell him.

"Uh, uh..." she stuttered.

Blackfoot's eyes widened, "You're shaking, are you cold?" he asked bringing her closer to him.

"No, I'm...I'm..."

She sighed then let her bright green eyes meet his hot amber gaze.

"I'm expecting kits."

Hey guys i'm at the Winter Fuse... and I'm Freezing cold! And I cut my chin, my clothing are wet, and it has been snowing NON STOP since I got here. But i'm having fun. Ciffhanger! Russetfur is going to have kits/the moment you havr all been waiting for.
